Have been going to Anh Hong since it started in the tenderloin. While the last two times it wasn't as good as I remembered it, this recent visit def shifted my perspective. Food was amazing and new and different for some friends. Great food, great company! Didn't get a chance to take too many pictures we were starving and considering you're mostly eating with your hands, prob not a place where you would be on your phone much. Staff was super friendly. I love a spot that can accommodate a big party. I called 3 weeks in advance and was able to modify and update the time and party size with a ease. We ordered:-egg rolls-carpaccio (raw beef)-rack of lamb-nem nuong -Banh xeo (Vietnamese crepes)-porridge -chao Tom banh hoi (shrimp wrapped around a sugar cane) - don't forget the suck on the sugar cane! -all 3 different types of beef wraps/rolls Everything can be paired with your preference of veggies, noodle squares, and can be wrapped as a spring roll with choice of fish sauce and shrimp paste. We had tons of orders and everyone left stuffed! Even my friend who ate said he was stuffed before he came could not stop eating and trying everything. Def a great place to eat at; however, probably would skip the porridge for next time. Parking can at times be challenging but not as challenging as some other neighborhoods. There is a mini parking lot by the golf course where you can get lucky sometimes. It is a short walk to the restaurant.

Anh Hong is an amazing and unique Vietnamese restaurant in the Bay Area, known for its delicious, fresh spring rolls. We came with a larger party of 8 and were easily able to make a reservation in advance. The service was quick, and the space was beautifully decorated. For our first visit, our favorites were the Saigon egg rolls, lemongrass grilled beef, and rack of lamb. Everything tasted amazing, and the lamb was incredibly tender and juicy. The interactive experience of wrapping your own spring rolls added a fun and memorable touch to the meal.Anh Hong is a refreshing change from the typical Vietnamese restaurants I'm used to. I'd love to return and try more of their dishes.

Anh Hong in San Francisco is a hidden gem for anyone craving fresh, vibrant Vietnamese flavors with a modern twist. It's usually never that busy and the interior has a number of seating for smaller and larger parties. Their spring rolls are delicious--loaded with crispy veggies, fresh herbs, and your choice of protein like shrimp, beef rolls, pork, etc. If you're looking for something a little more exciting, you can't miss the Chao Tom--grilled shrimp paste skewers that hit all the right notes: smoky, sweet, and ridiculously flavorful. Don't forget to chew the juice out of the sugarcane. Then there's the beef carpaccio, which is surprisingly refreshing. The paper-thin slices of raw beef topped with fresh herbs, peanuts, and a tangy dressing that really brings it all together. It's the perfect mix of bold and light, and definitely not your typical appetizer. Overall, Anh Hong is a must-visit spot if you're down to try something both fresh and familiar.

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants that I'm so glad moved to an area with better parking. My favorites are the beef carpaccio, rack of lamb with tomato/grape salad, sugarcane shrimp, grilled beef wrapped in Hawaiian leaf, and river prawns. I can't think of any bad dish I've here before, literally everything is delicious. Definitely come with more people to be able to try more, since it's family style. Most of the meal is making your own spring rolls with the protein, so get ready to get your hands a little dirty! But it's all amazingDefinitely make a reservation to avoid a wait!

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the city! I have been going to Anh Hong ever since they were in the Tenderloin. Since moving to the Richmond, they got rid of the 7 course beef and have to order everything a la carte now.My favorite dishes and must gets are:+Beef Carpaccio+Lamb Chops+Grilled Beef wrapped in Hawaiian Leaf+Sugarcane Shrimp+Fresh Water Prawns (if available- they run of this a lot)To be honest, I've tried many other things on the menu and everything is pretty good. From the nem nuong to even the grilled chicken, you won't be disappointed. And the best way to end the meal is with a bowl of their heartwarming porridge! This place can get a bit pricey, so I only like to come for special occasions. And it's better to come in bigger parties so you can try more things!

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in San Francisco (they don't serve pho here), specializing in fresh spring rolls. I've been coming here for almost 10 years, since they were in downtown--actually, it's been over 10 years now... time really flies. All of their dishes are among the top 5 in San Francisco! Many famous restaurants post on Instagram and make a big show, but do their dishes really live up to the hype? I hope they focus more on the quality of their food instead of just showing off on Instagram. Anyway, Anh Hong is a must-try restaurant in San Francisco, and you will never regret it!

Anh Hong is an amazing addition to the Richmond area and SF food scene in general! We definitely need more DIY Vietnamese spring roll restaurants around the SF Bay Area. The restaurant isn't massive, but it's quite comfortable. Be prepared for a wait if you're coming here during peak hours. Once you're seated, you'll see that the spring roll wrappers and all the veggies are laid out for you. All you need to do is order whatever appetizers and proteins you want to put in your spring rolls. Then, once you order, it's totally up to you to wrap your own rolls! Food quality is great. All the vegetables are fresh, proteins taste great, and even the service is pretty on-point. Will definitely be coming back soon!

I only have good things to say about Anh Hong. First, the restaurant itself is beautiful. Very elegant and nicely designed. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick. Now the food... just wow. The herbs and vegetables that they give on the side are so fresh and abundant! The meats were very juicy and flavorful. You must try the raw beef carpaccio!! One of my favorite places that have it. I would come back here a million times.

My first time at Anh Hong was yearsssss ago when they were located at the Tenderloin. Fast forward to now, this new location is a lot safer, quieter, and the food is still good. If you haven't had 7 course beef, you deserve 7 fingers in the face; one hand slap and two fingers up the nostrils. Boo-yah.I made reservations for a Friday and was seated at a large table. This location is a lot smaller but I'm ok with that, more intimate that way, giggity giggity.Beef Carpaccio - fresh, lots of flavorBeef in Hawaiian leaf - one of my favs. My mama makes this and it warms my soulGrilled BBQ Chicken - nicely cooked, lots of flavorWonton Noodle Soup - steamed wontons not fried in delicious brothMost of the dishes came with rice noodle squares which we absolutely loved. We also enjoyed wrapping our own rolls, customizing it they way we like it.Great food, great service. We were last to leave the restaurant, cheers to the owner for the nice treat at the end of the shift =)
