Stumbled here by chance because I came to the city for an interview at a hotel close by yesterday. It was a nice spot to grab a quick bite and was pretty nice that we were the only ones there. It's kind of a nice chill vibes spot with the Kpop music in the background. Interior wasn't like a wow factor but it was still nice. Since we were the only ones eating, the service was pretty quick. We did take a while to figure what to order since I'm indecisive. However we got 3 app dishes basically.Steamed Egg and a side of white Rice 4/5Calamari Rings 4/5Fries can't really rate since it was fries, haha.I do see myself coming by the city more often in the future so I'll happily try more things.

Perfect place right near union square area for a cute little dinner date! I went here on a weeknight and it wasn't busy! You'll be greeted with wholesomeness as you get seated down. Be warned that the portions are HUGE; no hogging fried rice for yourself! The food came out relatively quick AND they refill your banchaans! (Assortment of Korean side dishes to enjoy with your mains, very light and refreshing. Love the kelp noodle salad they had!)We ordered ... -kimchi fried rice with an omelette! (4.5/5, doesn't need ketchup, maybe ketchup mayo/sweet soy would be good!) -Soy garlic glazed Korean fried chicken (5/5, the star of the show AND THE PIECES ARE SO BIG BACKED FOR WHAT?!) -Porkbelly with ssamjang, lettuce wraps, radish (6/5 WOW very juicy slices of pork, multiple fun ways to eat this and the way they braised it, you can taste the love they put in every bite)Overall, the ambiance, service and food was unmatched! The pricing is also not bad, just don't eat here alone or you'll rack a huge bill haha!My only qualm is finding parking... sutter isn't as a scarey street but be prepared to parallel park on the left side to get here!

This is probably my 4th here and not my last! Every time I'm here, I ALWAYS order the Korean fried chicken half and half. They are super flavorful and cooked to be nice and juicy. We also got the army stew and the rice cakes which were nice as well! In the past, I've also gotten the japchae, kimchi fried rice, and seafood pancake (all without complaints!!). We came in at 8:30pm on a Friday night and we were seated right away. This spot does stay open late and when we left around 10pm, every table was filled. Overall, the food is great and there's a decent amount of seating for everyone.

Delicious and very friendly! Had a large group of 6 that they handled well. We were in town for short time and we had to go more than once.

I had the pleasure of dining at 707 Sutter, a cozy Korean restaurant, around 6 pm. At that time, it wasn't too busy, but as we settled in, more customers started to arrive--a clear sign that we were in for a great meal.Food:I ordered teriyaki chicken with white rice, and we started with a plate of shrimp. The food came out hot and well-seasoned, with generous portions that were perfect for sharing. Every bite was delicious! We ended up passing dishes around the table and still left with a few to-go boxes. Those dishes included Spicy chicken, chicken wings, fried rice with vegetables and beef dumplings. The flavors were rich, and the BBQ chicken had that perfect smoky sweetness. A special mention for the shrimp appetizer--crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. It really set the tone for the meal!Service:The service was top-notch. Our waitress was attentive without being overbearing, making sure our glasses were always full and checking in just the right amount. It's always nice when you feel well taken care of but not rushed.Ambience & Cleanliness:The atmosphere was pleasant, with plenty of seating, which made it comfortable even as the restaurant got busier. The dining area was spotless, and the clean bathroom was a plus. It was easy to relax and enjoy the meal in such a well-maintained space.Extras:I also enjoyed a hot cup of saku, which warmed me up, and made sure to stay hydrated with water. The contactless payment was convenient, and I appreciated the modern touch.Overall, 707 Sutter exceeded my expectations in every way--great food, excellent service, and a clean, comfortable dining environment. Highly recommended if you're craving Korean BBQ or just a fantastic meal with friends or family!

Came back again about 3 weeks later. Can't get enough of 707, and I live in the east bay lol. This time I took bart over and got off on Powell. It's a few blocks away from the bart station, so it being easy to get to is bad for my wallet. This will be my go to for a place to get drinks and eat in the city. I showed some new friends here and they enjoyed themselves a lot. The food this time was was great, and the staff was awesome as usual. Thank you 707!

If you're looking for a lively, fun Korean spot in SF that evokes the LA/NYC ktown feel, this place hits the mark. The atmosphere is its standout feature--bustling with energy, kpop in the background, and groups of friends sharing food and drinks. It's the perfect venue for a casual night out, with fast service that keeps the momentum going. The food is solid, though not the main draw. The soondubu (soft tofu stew) delivers rich, spicy flavors with a decent amount of seafood, though the portion is a bit small for the price. It's warm, comforting, and satisfying--great for pairing with soju. The seafood pancake is a highlight: golden, crispy, and packed with seafood without being overly doughy. Paired with their tangy, umami-packed dipping sauce, it's a dish that hits all the right notes. The kalbi (grilled short ribs), while tender, doesn't quite live up to its price tag. At over $30, I expected more in both portion size and depth of flavor. The japchae (glass noodles) has a pleasant flavor, but the noodles are a bit too thin and tend to clump together, which affects the texture.I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because the atmosphere is unbeatable for a fun night out with friends. The food, while good, doesn't stand out on its own, but the overall experience makes it a spot worth visiting. For a lively, social dining experience, this place is a great pick. However, if you're after pure food quality, there are other Korean spots in SF that offer a better value.
