great pizza great ranch. didn't wait long for my food to be ready. good service on top of everything

First...this location is conveniently located off the beach. The level of service we received when we came in was awesome. Very friendly staff and the owner was involved and just as friendly. We ordered a 16" pizza and 16 wings with buffalo sauce. It was amazing! Took about 20 minutes to bake because these guys do it fresh! Plenty of seating and the place looks amazing! If you order 24 hours ahead they have this massive pizza. Box the size of a house! Great job, guys! If I could give more stars I would!

Last summer I would have given this place 5 stars. I probably paid for over 25 giant slices of their 'za. Service is fine and the old ambiance was awesome. It was a perfect beach pizza shop, vinyl table cloths, napkins, park & pepper shakers on the tables, even a couple of umbrellas. I sometimes would plan my beach day around quick lunch with my kiddo with it so close to the beach. He even saved money all year for Zo Zo slices! This year, we returned to find they've gone through a remodel. Ambiance took a sterile downturn, removing all the character and personality it once had. Slices are smaller, counter area has been redone and lacks any character & so much less display space. Outdoor seating is still there but modern, boring, and screams "eat and move on..."I wouldn't say don't eat here, but I wouldn't recommend you eat here. There's a better, albeit more expensive place spot just around the corner that's got a much more versatile menu and colorful character vibe to it.

The pizza was great, the customer service was amazing. We felt like we were right at home.And the buffalo hot wings were perfectly cooked. I will definitely come by again when we are vacationing in this area.

I accidentally called at 8:54p when they close at 9, but the girl who answered was really nice and still took my order. The pizza was AMAZING! Perfect ratio of ingredients and was not greasy or soggy at all. Some of the best pizza I've had in SD and all the employees were really chill and nice... even though I showed up to pick up the pizza AFTER they closed... sorry guys, but thank you so much for the amazing dinner! Also, they have really good crafts sodas without high fructose corn syrup. Quality place; quality employees

Pizza was fire !! I was on the beach and wanted a quick bite and I got it and also got some great Info about Italy from cashier and I'm so glad we stopped . Seem like a mom and pops and the taste was on point . The look is beach bum pizza but it's def representing the pizza lovers

I have been here 2x. The first time was on a pizza scouting mission. My kid was having their birthday at the Plunge across the parking lot and they partner with roundhouse pizza (meh) who is expensive so we wandered in here.Ordered kidlet a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese and they were gobbled. I ended up having some bites some time later and even cold it was still good. It is New York style pizzaThe restaurant was clean. There are a few tables inside and outside. We were able to talk to the owner about wanting to order pizza foe the party and he gave us a card with his info and just ask we call the day before since we were ordering a giant pizza.Pizza was ordered day before the party. I was worried about running out of food so we ordered a large in addition to the giant. My husband went and picked it up.It was hot and tasty. Our guests commented on the pizza and asked where it was from. We actually ended up with very little pizza left (which was good for us).Overall friendly staff, good pizza. I would stop in again if in the area or having a party at the Plunge.

I stopped by this place and brought my cousin from Italy; it was her first time ever trying pizza in the United States and she loved it. Everyone working there was really nice..... noticeably nice. I'm definitely coming here again :)

We got good vibes from just walking in. Service was great! Pizza was delicious. We ordered a regular cheese pizza (crust was light and crispy) and gluten free pepperoni pizza (best one we have ever had!). Great way to end the day on the beach. (For all the NY style pizza eaters - not truly a NY pizza but don't hold that against them!)
