I have nothing but utmost respect for the business owner. If I can give 10 stars I would! My partner and I were traveling and it was our first time here--recommended by someone. The best experience we ever had. Veronica was the nicest and sweetest lady. We were welcomed there like family. Everyone was super friendly. The staff were super hospitable and even the customers were feeding off that same positive energy. Definitely a good vibe all around. We had certain requests and she immediately accommodated everything we needed--no questions asked. She even offered options for us and made sure she was able to help. She took our order and they made everything with love!The food portion was VERY generous and the pricing was decent. A lot of foot traffic in this small little mom and pop restaurant and I am not surprised. Veronica was REALLY REALLY nice. She served our food to our table and brought us everything we requested. She even made sure to ask what else we were needing. Definitely will be back! We support small businesses! Too bad this restaurant isn't in my area. We live 3hrs away but it was a wonderful experience!!I highly recommend this place. Service and food is amazing!

We stopped by there on Sunday 2pm on the way to mountain retreat in Julian.Most of the tables were seated by customers and was busy there!We ordered lengua burrito and Sunday special brria. Burrito has sooo much meat inside and was heady! And burria soup also was big portion with meat and made us so happy. Veronica was running kitchen and preparing food for many customers and I really liked her kitchen. Also tortilla was homemade and was so good. I never thought I can eat such tasty Mexican food in the middle of the mountain and will want to come back if I ever go back to that area.

Updated review went back for shrimp Tacos, best ever.Trying fish tacos next, everything has been a winner.

I had received so many recommendations to try out Veronica's and it did not disappoint. I've been coming here for the last few months and you're guaranteed to always be greeted with the warm smile and absolutely amazing food. Veronica makes her meals with love.

Great Mexican food on the way to three sisters! Salsa was excellent and burritos were huge. We also got the carnitas plate that was really good. Food was inexpensive and service was fantastic. Veronica was really nice and gave great reccomendations. Restaurant very clean. Fun place to stop in on your way to hike!

I've been coming here for years... basically since it opened and it never fails to disappoint. I usually get breakfast burritos because they're delicious but all of their food is great. Just a simple deli/kitchen but absolutely worth stopping by

We were looking for just about anything to eat after a long hike, and happened upon this place. We're glad we did! The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the atmosphere was friendly. Already planning on coming back!

All the way in the cut. I found this place camping near by a year ago and it was amazing. If you are ever in the area or heading to julian, swing by this place for the best chilaquiles. They are amazing as well as the lovely people taking the orders and working there. Last time I was lucky enough to see them cooking on their massive grill outdoors as well. Thank you guys again!

A little hole in the wall restaurant at the corner. Love the chips they give us while waiting for the food. The food is delicious to eat after our 3 sisters waterfall trail hike. I would rather go to this restaurant than that overpriced restaurant at Lake Cuyamaca that has garbage plates. My favorites are all the breakfast plates. Lots of gringos favorite place to eat at. They're always super busy with all their phone orders. The seating area is small, and there's one tiny outdoor section, too.
