These drinks were so good! I wish they had the dark boba though (I prefer that to the golden boba). The inside was clean and very welcoming. It's a nice place to meet up with someone for a drink and sweet snack! The staff was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We will definitely go again!

My partner was wanting a boba tea so we went to nearest boba spot. I ordered a Large Iced Lavender Milk Tea based on the staff recommendation. I was indecisive about ordering the Lavender or Rose Milk Tea. She suggested that I ordered the Lavender Milk Tea because it was sweeter. It tasted like a good herbal tea, however the lavender flavor was mute.She was not wrong about how sweet it is. In my personal opinion it was too sweet for me. I typically order my drinks at 25% sugar level. I wasn't offer a sugar level so I didn't think to lower the sugar. My partner ordered the Captain Crunch Snow Bubble. Overall he did like the beverage. He didn't taste the Captain Crunch flavor, though. The establishment was clean. An average size boba shop. A single co-ed bathroom stall. I didn't notice if the shop also offered food items. I was please with their Honey Boba. It is house made and it was really good. I am sure that added extra sweetness to my beverage.

My friends and I wanted a quick afternoon boba before heading off to meet other friends. Since we're from the Bay Area, we searched for nearby boba spots on Yelp and it lead us to Vanitea.The shop is located in a plaza so there's lots of parking. It's a small shop that's very cute - a couple of instagrammable walls so of course I had to take a photo of my drink!They've got a huge menu with drinks for everyone - snow bubble, milk teas and teas, coffee, and slushies. I went with the brown sugar milk tea ($5.50), 50% sweet, and added boba (+$1). An additional dollar felt like a lot to add for some boba but I know we're far past the days of cheaper boba drinks. The drink tasted more like a brown sugar fresh milk drink rather than a milk tea. I just wasn't getting the tea flavor. It is was still kinda sweet so I bet if I got it at regular sweetness, it would've been very sweet. I did like the boba though! It's different than the honey boba that I've usually gotten at other boba shops, it's more tapioca (if that makes sense) - chewier, lighter, and a little less sweet. Def wouldn't mind going again if I was in the area!

Ordered the thai tea, oreo, and taro drinks because I was in the area. My thai tea tastes very watered down and was not good at all. The other two drinks were fine. If they mess up on thai tea which is a very basic drink then IDK.

Very cute coffee, cold drinks like slushies and smoothie like shop. The place is very spacious on the inside and has a relaxing vibe. You can request boba with your drinks. They also have macaroons and mini sweets.

I love Vanitea Cafe. I wish they still did the punch cards because I come here so often. The service is quick and friendly. The drinks are sweet so I usually cut it to 50% sweetness and then they're perfect for me. But if you like really sweet drinks you could probably keep it as is. Still good either way. I highly recommend!

Jasmine tea with cheese foam: I got it at 50% sweetness it didn't taste like tea at all after I mixed the foam with the drink. And it was still too sweet! They said they pre-mix the sugar with the tea so the lower the sugar level the less tea flavor.Strawberry banana smoothie: I thought was pretty decent but my friend who ordered it didn't like it and said it didn't have enough flavorChamango smoothie: Again I thought it was a decent drink. I didn't get any of the tajin but the mango part was good. According to my friend it was kinda hard to get an even mouthful of mango to tajin ratio.The smoothies were decent but I wouldn't get the tea here again.

I had a terrible experience. I ordered four drinks, but three were wrong, despite the waiter confirming my order. When I went to correct it, Becca who wasn't even the person who took my order, decided to step in and make the situation far worse, giving excuse that we should have confirmed our order.... (which we did) then kept saying that we are wasting. Saying the only solution is to pay, but wouldn't that still be considered wasting? I thought it would be like any other restaurant who would switch out an incorrect order, but instead Becca chose to be aggressive and not willing to switch out the order. She kept saying we should have verified on the tablet by giving this excuse. And we did confirm it when the waiter just confirmed by repeating our order, and that not an excuse for her to be rude. Becca had the audacity to gaslight me and my friends, insisting we were wrong when we knew exactly what we ordered. Her behavior was disturbing, as she tried to twist the situation to make us look wrong. This type of behavior needs to change immediately, because no customer should be treated this way. Once again, the verification on the tablet that she keeps using to back herself up should not be an excuse for her disrespectful behavior.
