This is a hole In wall that just makes flour tortillas. Thus rating it on such. Lady gave us hot fresh tortillas. The tortillas are thin and tasty. I had better in Tijuana but this place saved us on the trip to Mexico and the 1-2 hours to get back. Thus an extra star. They sell 20 tortillas for $4. I thought that was reasonable. Took some and will try to freeze and use thus may update this in the future depending on how the tortillas hold up. However the fresh hot ones were very good.

So atm the storefront isn't actually open, but you can find bags of these bad boys in Noela's market a few doors down. One bag (I think there's 20 in each bag) sets you back $4. Not the cheapest, but definitely worth it.These tortillas are pretty darn good- you know that they're the real deal when they are somewhat translucent and not super bready like Mission tortillas. I made a quesadilla with one and it was tasty. Would recommend freezing a few bags if you go through flour tortillas regularly. I so wish I could've gotten a bag of these straight out the oven so I could get the full experience of tasting the difference. I feel like these taste pretty similar to the uncooked flour tortillas from tortilla land you can get at Costco. I'm not in City Heights too often so I don't think I'll be back soon, but if you're around the area and have the chance to buy a hot bag of steaming tortillas, I'd recommend! Hopefully next time I'm in that area the tortilleria will be open.

$4.. a packet a bit much. They're good butI've had better. The tortilleria inside Los Panchos on El Cajon blvd are much tastier in my opinion and for only $2.37 per packet. There's usually a line though to get them bc they're that good.

Amazingly fresh and delicious tortillas! I used to tolerate Mission/grocery store tortillas cause that's all I had access to before moving to San Diego. Now that I've had the flour tortillas that these guys make, I literally can't think about Mission tortillas without gagging a little bit.Anyways, try this: buy two packs of flour tortillas, stuff your face with 2-3 of them on the way home, stick one pack in the freezer and try to forget that you have them, and use the other pack to make bomb ass homemade carne asada tacos for you and your friends.

The place still deserves 5 stars *****! Tortillas are still delicious. I picked up a pack right now for my office breakfast potluck tomorrow. I will continue bringing my business here and also referring them to others. Gracias Tortillas De Harina El Trigal!

These tortillas are really good. My nana used to hand make tortillas of this caliber. Ok hers were better but these are a really close second. My mom buys 8 packs at a time and freezes what she can't use immediately. I love having these when I visit. I just had a thawed one last night with her Chile Verde and holy cow it was delicious! Frozen and thawed and still amazing. This place is closed on Sundays btw.

Found this metal object baked into the pack of tortillas we buy regularly. I'm floored by how dangerous our breakfast quickly became, nearly fatal.
