The Leucadian Bar

Great local bar. The Leucadian is an institution. The BarBQue food truck isn't bad but it's pricey. Bring all your money! Fun outdoor area with heaters. We didn't play pool but that's an option! Service is great. I would definitely recommend.

I used to really dislike this bar, but in recent years, they got a new owner, fixed it up, and added a nice patio with a permanent food truck. I haven't had the chance to eat there yet because it's very popular food wise and only they were sold out of a lot of what I would have ordered. Next time.Bar is a dive bar, and the prices reflect that. It's a local place with pool tables and some other games. Looks like it would be a great hangout during the day when the weather is great.

Boy, has this place changed! We went here for a private event on the back patio, but it was soon invaded by some fun loving interlopers. The food truck had excellent BBQ! The patio was nicely lit and very warm and comfy. The drinks are strong and the service is great. I especially loved the culture of a line at the bar! Not sure if that's a thing now, but this old lady appreciated it. What I used to use to get bartenders' attention has drooped below the bar now, so...

Great local bar. Outdoor area is super nice anytime of day. If it's chilly they have plenty of heaters and 2 fire pits

It's not high end. It's not fancy. It's not really a dive though. It's just a cool place to come and hang out. Big patio with a food truck. Pool tables. Lots of TVs. It's a big place so bring the whole group. Full bar. Lots of good local beers on tap and very friendly servers and bouncers. I have been a few times now and this is becoming a go to spot for me. I am enjoying having this in the rotation. I have usually been here on off times but I hear it gets crowded. I'll be back. You should check it out!

Friendly. Diverse patrons and staff. Decent craft beer, shoufh could always improve. The URBN pizza upgrade is the biggest news in town. Pizza is even better than. The coal fires brick and morter locations. Awesome hot wings. Cute patio with some shade. Still the two good pool tables and nice dark bar ambiance , even with the new windows added in recent years. Great touch turns jukebox.... Just too bad it doesn't pay out in the garden patio. Patio could use some more green live trees to make it a proper beer garden . We'll be back. Look forward to seeing what they do next.Pro tip: parking always tight. Walk, Uber or carpool.

We are locals to SD and came here for a staycation and our daily stop was the Leucadian. We came here for 5 days straight and all of the bartenders and staff were great (mon-Thur) with the exception of Friday night. Bleach blonde "Barbie" bartender was super rude and condescending (hence 4 out of 5 stars). Otherwise, great atmosphere, drinks and food! We'll come back if the rude bartender isn't working.

Excellent and beautiful service. All employees were very nice the place is clean and good prices on all drinks n beer...the back open air is very clean and relaxing food is a bonus...
