The Handmade Chef Meal Prep

i was walking to a cafe to do some work and saw this restaurant on the way and went in for some info! the cashier was so friendly and informative especially with her being new! she let me know how the service works and i was sold! my plans to go to the cafe was cancelled and i had lunch & worked here! i was using my hotspot, but they graciously allowed me to connect to the restaurant wifi to work! i really appreciated this gesture! please don't go asking to use the wifi though! i'm special! also, i love how the food is clean and macros conscious! all the foods didn't have the macros listed (they are working to get it updated so i cut them some slack since they are new)! the food was good, but nothing special! it was great for convenience and being healthy!

This place is awesome!!!! Fresh and delicious food for a reasonable price!! Great vegetarian options too! I can't believe it didn't know about it earlier! Very convenient for someone who doesn't have time to cook and that is next door to my office building! Love!

Needed a meal for the Amtrak ride back to Los Angeles, ended up having it for dinner that night and not disappointed at all. Portioned just right and scrumptious. My Wife and I each had the Cilantro Chicken Meatballs with Roasted Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts and Chimichurri Sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasty. I wish there was a location near my home to go to (often) highly recommend to those traveling to or reside in San Diego.

oh man These meals are bangers Also have really good smoothies conveniently located, super chill ambience, and down to earth service.

This place is so convenient to grab and go for healthy prepared meals. I'm confident ordering here while eating on my calorie deficit and this place makes it easy because it's delicious! My favorites so far are the Cilantro Chicken Meatballs and the Sesame Crusted Bluefin Tuna with the Sesame Hoisin Sauce. Oh and the Thai Lettuce Wraps Yum! It's affordable and they also do A La Carte which makes it easy to just grab a snack if I'm not looking for a whole meal. Also Friday they do double points so I usually grab extra meals for the weekend since they are closed on the weekends. Friendly and kind staff. This is my go to especially if you work in the area. It is a must try! Enjoy!!!

This place is my new go to lunch spot during work. Healthy, delicious and IMO reasonably priced comparing to other options in the area. 10/10!

I was fortunate enough to find a meal prep company that has grass fed beef and organic chicken etc. High quality ingredients matter to me and I am willing to pay a little more. Although Handmade's prices are very reasonable/affordable! Their location is clean and staff is amazing! Thank you so much for delicious and nutritious meals. I am a loyal customer from here on out!!

Overall great to-go option downtown and as someone who lives downtown it is dearly needed. I tried the vegan fast-casual meal prep to-go and it was pretty good with fresh veggies and two black bean patties...I was able to take it home and warm up.I also tried their Protein Breakfast with 2 pancakes, 2 egg bites and 2 bfast chicken sausages. While they won't be putting Richard Walker Pancake House out of business, the highlight here was the sausage, very good and home-made tasting. My only nit was I was given a business card with QR code for "20% off online orders "on the first visit. When I tried the code it kept coming back "invalid code" despite even the website showing the code and I copied it over.

Would love to try this place but they always close early. Should just put that you close whenever staff feels like it.
