The Grille At Maderas Golf Club

This is the second time this week I had lunch here. The previous is with a girlfriend group that we get together monthly at different places. It was a wonderful lunch but I failed to take pictures and review. This one Was with 3 of my girlfriends who we do lunch to celebrate birthdays. The weather was perfect both days and the veranda has stunning views. My previous lunch I had the Seared Ahi bowl minus the nori flakes. It was delicious and beautiful. Sorry no picture. I was tempted to get it again but opted for the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. They were a good choice too. I did order an extra side of the cream and was glad I did. The chips and salsa that came with it were very good too. I tasted the sweet potato waffle fries and they were really tasty. Everyone loved their choices. The truffle chicken sandwich looked great. It was a creation of the chef and had sliced pears on it. The menu was new for the summer and I really like it. Will come back to try the strawberry and goat cheese salad. Both days we had Rylee as our server. This is the 3rd time she has served us. She is delightful and attentive. I highly recommend this place. I wish they still had the summer evenings where they have music while you dine in the evenings.

This is a review of the grill restaurant at Maderas Golf Club. Nice casual grill restaurant with amazing views of the local hills and golf course. I had the Angus beef burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was fantastic and our waitress was friendly, checked on us often, and did an amazing job.

Gorgeous place for golfing and having a great lunch and dinner, beautiful views, relaxing and great food. loved it!

I recently dined here and I found the prices to be extremely high for the selection they offered on their menu. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the lack of variety and the overall quality of the dishes. It felt like I didn't get my money's worth, and I left the restaurant feeling underwhelmed.

Popped in with visiting relatives. The four of us enjoyed great margaritas, wine, beer and food. Food wise, we had burgers which were perfectly done and the Caesar salad which was good and shareable. Took photos outside with the beautiful scenery as backdrop. Wait staff was fantastic. Next time will try desserts which sounded like chocolate decadence as described by waitress.

View is phenomenal. Service was lacking. Met a gf for a drink but had to walk into the bar to ask if someone could come wait on us. Once inside, I waited for a man to get his drink before I said anything. Then 6 of his group came in boisterously. to order. The staff person turned her whole attention to them and served them without looking my direction. Pretty sure she was anticipating a big corporate credit card tip. I finally interrupted and ask if someone could come take our order at our table. We ordered 2 margaritas (no special kind) and the bill came to $32.12. Wtheck?!?I live around the corner and could frequent this place but there's always a reason not to.

Great place to sit and relax, beautiful view, friendly staff. We were out for a walk so grabbed a quick beer and a White Claw (didn't want to waste all the calories I just burned :) ) we split a turkey sandwich it was loaded with turkey, lettuce, and tomato and came with pickle spears and chips. Not a bad deli sandwich for $7.50.

Last night we visited the Grill at Maderas for their lobster and bubbly event. The champagne vendors were set up in the hallway, very narrow since the christmas tree was taking up half of the area. It did not seem to flow as you walked in there was no one to greet you or give you a pouring sheet. We were seated right away without a chance to even taste champagne.We ordered the Lobster and also steak and lobster. The food came out extremely fast. My Lobster was very mushy, the claws had a very stringent taste, the tail was very small and also very soft, not firm like it should be. The tail that came with the steak was better, however the steak was overcooked and the beans undercooked. The lobster bisque could have had more lobster and was quite salty. The lobster cracker appetizer was very generous with the lobster and a good choice. We felt very rushed like they needed the tables turned around fast. As I just put the last bite into my mouth someone was asking if he could take my plate. It was unfortunately not worth the $180.00 +.

Visited the Grill at Maderas last night with my wife and folks for their burger night. I had never been there before, but was told the food was really good and that their burger nights were of good value. The service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive, but not annoying and always ensured that we had drinks in front of us.The atmosphere was very welcoming, although it's been very humid lately we enjoyed ourselves on their outdoor patio where they also had a guitarist playing covers of popular songs in the background. The food was wonderful. My folks each had a sirloin burger, my wife had the Thai salad and I had the panko chicken sandwich. The chef even made an appearance outside and was a very nice gentleman who clearly takes pride in what he does. For desert we split churros, fig tart and the chef even sent us a mint desert that consisted of very good chocolate/fudge type brownie with fresh mint ice cream! Thanks Chef! Everything was wonderful! Will definitely likely make a regular visit here since it's very close by and everything was perfect!

I've been here a couple times and the food is underwhelming for what it is. I expected a lot more.The first time I ordered an entree of steak medallion nachos which sounded fantastic but in reality it was an over-glorified starter. Three members of my party ordered these things and later in the day we all felt, well, not great. Truthfully it was just a strange dish to have listed in the entrees. The next time I went I ordered one of the burgers that featured an egg among a plethora of other toppings. Overall it was okay but the burger itself definitely seemed confused. When you start to pile on topping after topping the burger loses its identity. What's the star of the dish? I honestly don't know. Keep it simple.I have no problem eating here again, but I'll probably just stick to the simple dishes. The decor is nice. Service is good. I just felt the food didn't match-up.
