The Bean Box

I ordered a turkey pesto sandwich with a bottle water and raspberry hibiscus tea. The sandwich was grilled by the staff. The turkey sandwich was great. The pesto with the Swiss cheese on rye bread was the perfect combination plus it was very flavorful and delicious. The tea was nice and warm. The customer service was great and the ambiance was customer service friendly. Very helpful to the customer needs.

Matcha Latte heart delicious! My favorite. Not to sweat w/oat milk. You will love too. Great customer service. Also the Spicy Chicken wrap!! Yum!

I'm SO SO SO happy they are open again! This was my favorite spot to grab lunch before the pandemic hit, and I was heart broken when they had to close. The owner is so sweet and personally sent me a message letting me know they were back in business at the 701 building. I of course had to grab lunch from them today! I had been craving their chicken Avocado wrap! My coworker and I shared the chicken Avocado wrap, and the burrata caprese salad. It was so fresh, and delicious! All the ingredients they use are top notch! I'm so glad we have a healthy cafe to eat at around here again!

A little stark, but spacious and the iced mocha was good. Not a destination spot, but decent if you're passing by or work/live nearby. One of the gals working there was taking her break sitting on a box behind the counter, in plain sight, made me wonder how they treat their workers or if she was just being lackadaisical. Either way, not a tremendous first impression of this new coffee place.

Coffee is good, but couldn't get a smile from either employee, they looked angry, I guess I'm spoiled at Starbucks, as I was waiting they started speaking a language I didn't recognize.

I'm always on the lookout for good strong coffee. The coffee is great. Added plus...it is quick friendly service and they are centrally located downtown San Diego.

Quality is good but food products grossly overpriced for what you get. I ordered the avocado toast once which was one small piece of bread and the medium açaí bowl another time which was very small. Both were about $8 and not worth it.

This is my first time at the Bean Box and wanted to give it a try considering it is pretty close to my work. I ordered a blended tuxedo mocha with almond milk, and the drink came out under poured by a good inch compared to my friend who also got a blended drink. My friend and I are convinced that no espresso was put into either of our drinks, and they were both so sweet that we stopped drinking them about a 1/4 of the way through. I definitely will not be going back to the Bean Box for any sort of coffee.

Quality food/drinks, low prices, convenient location, and great service. One of my frequent stops for the "Green Machine" smoothie at lunch.

Best cappuccino downtown! Very friendly staff. Yummy food. Good value fir your money.
