Taquizas Los Chuchys

We recently attended an event at Santee Lakes that was catered by Taquizas Los Chuchys. The food was fantastic.On the menu: Tacos! Al Pastor, Pollo and Carne Asada. All with or without melted cheese. Sides were Pinto Beans and Mexican Rice. Roasted jalapeños and peppers, sautéed onions, raw onions, cilantro, radishes, guacamole and two fabulous salsas were the condiments.Corn tortillas handmade on-site! The best corn tortillas!They even had drinks available. Agua de Jamaica and Agua de Tamarindo.The pollo and the carne asada were excellent. Make no mistake about it. Both were grilled up perfectly. Both flavorful and delicious.The Al Pastor was next level. Marinated pork piled high on a vertical spit. Sittin' and spinnin' gettin' all happy.Thinly sliced and piled high on one of those tortillas. WOW! So good! I just wanted to camp out in front of the grill and just have one after the other. I refrained...The beans and rice were great too. For dessert I had a cup of beans with roasted peppers, sautéed onions and jalapeños topped with some of the al pastor. Fantastic!The next time we are in need of a taco truck or catering, you bet we're calling Chuchys!

Had employee appreciation day at work today. Taquizas Los Chuchys crew pulled up and started putting their canopy up and grilling station. They had a table with salsa, condiments, utensils, napkins, limes, sliced radish and Jalapeno onions. They started cooking once the grill was turned on and got to working. It was a two staff crew, very impressive! She made the tortillas fresh and he cooked the meat and chicken. Everything was fresh! The salsa had great flavor and a kick to it. The beef was juicy and tender. The chicken had light flavor, the best was the beef. Two staff crew was fast and efficient. I highly recommend for your next catering.

Los Chuchys catered my wedding welcome party , they were professional , affordable, and responsive. All our guests were raving about how good the food was.

Okay so this past weekend we stumbled upon this taco place..however I can't check in because the address is not in Chula Vista ,and it is NOt in National City..it is in Down Town San Diego off G St. First and Foremost the seating out side is small and has an Umbrella for shade. Inside is small and not for last groups,Unlimited Drinks.The Guacamole no tomato and for this 4 stars but lacked lemons and salt.I ordered the Carn Asada Fries no pico de gallo .Queso Taco Birria Plate no pico de gallo..And Al Pastor Burrito No Tomatoes.Now I'd like to say this other than the seating and smelling of nast uring out in the streets due to homelessness.This Place has Great food from my rice...to the Birria, to the al pastor..My beans needed something ..maybe a little salt idk but still delicious.I'd be back of I was out that way ,but the location is ok..The Taco Plates are a little Pricey..

Best tacos in San Diego area hands down. Service and ambiance is on point. They have handmade yellow tortillas and the meats are so tender and so much flavor. Words can't describe! A must try. The owner really cares about his business it's kept very clean and the staff is friendly greet you with a smile and they play good music. Overall amazing experience.

The taco catering service is so convenient. Instead of going to a taco shop, thinking of how many tacos or what kind of tacos to buy, you can basically get them all here.Los Chuchys served our company of well over 50 people with a 2 person team. Tacos were delicious and we were provided all the fixings. Another plus is the agua frescas, handmade tortillas right in front of you and even ceviche.I'm such a fan of abogado and the carne asada, that I didn't get to try the pollo and fish. I would like to think those did not disappoint.This was a top notch taco caterer.

Have been to many taco cart parties. This was hands down the best. The quality of meats, and seasoning were spot on. Very impressed with the side dishes, salsas, and fresh tortillas made right in front of you. Additionally from a business point of you we had called several other places. Some called back and some didn't. Los Chuchys were not only responsive, but polite and very personable. They have a straight forward contract and you know exactly what you're going to get, great communication and they deliver as promised. The staff was on time,super nice and clean. We had 75 people and a LOT of leftovers. Everyone commented how excellent the food was. Im a customer for life.

Outstanding! Great food. Early to set up and very reliable. Very organized and great follow through. Highly recommend!
