Tan Dinh

Not sure what I ordered, I pointed and tried something that looks like a muffin with shrimp head. Cash only.

Picked up 3lbs of rice noodles for $10 which also came with fried shallots and a pint of nice Cham (in a plastic baggie). Noods were super fresh and the texture is very addicting! Also got a cha lua which was the best I've had in a while, fried tofu, tofu pudding, and picked radishes.The auntie didn't speak much English but all good. The place is a little hole in the wall where you can order to go. They display a lot of items too so you can just grab anything that looks good to you.

It's a hidden gem, very hole in the wall to go food that most people will drive by and miss.The parking is very limited so probably better to find street parking. The staff is very kind and helpful with questions. Out of all the places we frequent for Banh Cuon, this is our favorite. They make it fresh daily and sell out every day! They also offer a special of buy 2 get 1 lb free and we always take advantage of the deal. The Banh Cuon is very fresh here and they have zero problems putting together a big order, it never lacks in quality. They also have the most delicious tofu in town!

I love a mom and pop like this that offers delicious authentic food! So so hard to come by. They're very friendly and move quick too so they'll get you in and out the door. There's no dinning area so you gotta just grab your food to go. It's cash only so come prepared.

I was craving for simple Vietnamese breakfast, bánh cuốn. This place got it all. Fresh Hot and ready. We love the fresh Soy Milk 1/2 gal for $3. FYI: By the afternoon most of the stuff sold out so you better pre order and pick up early.

Support this place! My family always comes here for the tofu, banh uot, and banh cuon. The tofu here is my absolute favorite. They have three kinds, mushroom & vermicelli, lemongrass, and plain. I personally love the mushroom and lemongrass one. Plain is great too if you're using it as a side for your meal and you don't want too much flavor. You need to try it. They sell it by the pound, so you could choose how much you want to try. Really great option for those who are vegan. Great place to pick up some lunch or dinner, because all of their food is ready to eat. They have their own parking lot, so you should have no problem going here.

Best banh uot and banh cuon I've had in San Diego! It's not a dine in restaurant, so don't except tables and chairs. This place is kind of hard to find and does not have very many parking spots. I usually pick up banh uot from them on Saturday mornings. They have a deal where you buy 2 pounds of banh uot and get 1 pound for free. They also have cha, veggies and fish sauce so you can make your own plate at home. They are cash only!

This is a hole in the wall place but has awesome, fresh made daily tofu and soy milk. The also sale lemon grass or mushroom flavored fried tofu by the pound. I stop by weekly but if you come late afternoon, the picking will be slim to none.

Pretty cheap and big portion. You guys should call ahead to order then come to pick up so you don't have to wait. If you order food togo and eat it later (like me, I usually order in the afternoon but I ate at night), ask them to put all veggie on the side or separated container. They also have hot chilli sauce if you want your dipping sauce spicier. They have parking lot, which is a plus!!!

10/28/23 This business is rude to customer. I asked , the customer to sell me Banh Cuon that displaying on the hot pan. He gave me the Banh Cuon that cover with foil wrap. He told me I am the first customer and do not do such thing. Last time I bought Banh Cuon that is cover with foil wrap, I ate and I got sick very bad. I think they sale me the old Banh Cuon. Tan Dinh should sell their Banh Cuon to customers as we requested it. We want to buy things that we can see in front of our eyes. Tan Dinh should sell us Banh Cuon that on the hot pan, not the one that cover with foil wrap. Toi mua banh cuon Tan dinh sang ngay 28/10/23. Toi hoi chu tiem la ban cho toi banh nong dang o tren Pan. Ho dua toi banh cuon duoc goi voi foil warp. Ong chu tiem noi toi la khach mo hang khong nen lam nhu vay do la thieu lich su. Day khong phai la lan daun tien chu tiem nat no khach hang. Banh cuon ma goi trong foil wrap toi da mua va an bi nhiem doc. Toi bi binh gan ca mot tuan le co le vi ho da ban toi banh cu. Khach hang nen quan tam va chu y nhung gi minh mua o Tan Dinh.
