Location was super clean and super friendly service.Food was good great presentation prices were reasonable The teriyaki chicken was a nice size. I shared it.The only thing I was surprise was the price of the soda can $4.00. There is a bar area as well with TVs. Nice chill family place in west Chula Vista. I wrote a 5-star review for Sushi Roll on my other Yelp account. I've been there three times and the first two experiences were great. The food and service were excellent, and I was thrilled to have a sushi spot close to home with other options like tiraditos.However, during my visit last Sunday at around 5:00 pm, things didn't go so well. The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded. An older gentleman initially took our order promptly, but then seemed to vanish after our food was served. Despite asking another waitress for help in ordering dessert, the service was slow and we had to wait a long time. When our tempura fried ice cream finally arrived, it was after a lengthy delay. I requested the check multiple times but faced further delays, with the waitress attributing the slow service to being short-staffed. Although the food and setting are good, the disappointing experience with the staff may keep me from returning for a while. I hope others have a better experience, especially if the restaurant is short-staffed.

The food was DELICIOUS, from the reviews i thought it'd actually be bad but its surprising how wrong people were. The place was nice and clean wasn't as packed! Very comfy atmosphere there.

Ok !! Ok !! Sushi in the South Bay ?? Well I think we in Chula Vista are evolving into a foodie place especially with places like this !! First and foremost my hat's off to Ruben our server and greeter . Let me say this I know what I like please don't try to up sell me but this guy went over the top to suggest things to try for lunch well he came on a bit strong but he was so excited about his place . I have a back ground in sales coming from the grocery industry but it's been a while since I felt this strong about my store. The food was the star of the show !! I had the poke bowl now if the fish isn't fresh you know it !! This was so tasty that I could smell the sea air . My wife had the ramen which was on another level good . The place was decorated very nice . I'm going to post a few pictures but they won't do justice to the taste.You need to try this place !! The price point was fare for seafood and ramen but sometimes you just need to Eat Well !! Stay well my friends!!

I ordered the super crunch roll , the sushi chef has great customer service and was very helpful in suggesting food and dessert. He offered different sauces for my sushi roll which I appreciate! He was also able to customize my daughter's roll. The ac is amazing in here for these hot summer days. It's very aesthetic in here.

Had the pork belly ramen. Was surprised that it had lettuce in it, as that is not a traditional ingredient that I'm aware of. The flavor was not as strong as other ramens I've had at other locations. As for the interior of the restaurant, it was very nicely maintained and modern. Staff was tentative and nice. Bathrooms were clean. Parking was a little rough thought since it shares the same parking lot as Apple Tree.

Rolls are on the pricey side, 18 - 20 bucks a roll. The restaurant is more of a TJ sushi place. I prefer a more japanese style of flavor. We pro a ly wont return but I think others might enjoy. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant ambiance is beautiful.

I visited Sushi Roll for the second time and didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean.To start, I had the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The rice was perfectly crispy and topped with spicy tuna and sauce. The flavors and textures blended well. I also tried the tiradito, which came with a mango sauce. The fish was fresh and the accompanying sauces were delicious. The ocean roll was not only visually appealing but also delicious and not too filling like traditional sushi rolls. I appreciate that the menu offers a mix of Mexican seafood and traditional sushi favorites.The service was excellent on both of my visits. The staff was attentive and friendly. Chula Vista really needed a place like this.
