The places name I admit give me a giggle and the place is tight for a the stroller. The food was delicious. Ramen, oysters, and of course sushi was excellent.Since we had children with us it was a bit messy and spilled water the service was amazing. Helpful and accommodating is the best way to describe this place.Recommend for first date that's into sushi.

My boyfriend and I went here today after our spa day and it was not the best decision. He had been there before and said it wasn't too great but instead of searching for more places we went there anyway. Our servers were nice and responded quickly. We asked for bottled water and a cup of ice and they didn't bring a straw. Then we ordered our rolls. My bf ordered the tuna and yellowtail/scallion rolls and they were not put together well. The rice tasted funny and it was really sticky. I ordered sweet Hawaiian and pink rolls and they were massive and again rice didn't taste good and they were falling apart they were so big. The only thing on the table that tasted good was the cucumber salad. But that's an easy recipe. Definitely not coming back. No wonder their sushi is 50% off all the time but...I wouldn't say they were worth $12 either!

Sushi Kuchi offers some excellent rolls for decent prices. My personal favorite was the sensual pleasure; the spicy tuna actually packed quite the punch, and the scallops inside tasted pretty fresh. The place was pretty empty during lunch hours, and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Of course, being on Convoy, parking is difficult, but if you can get around that this is a pretty good restaurant.

We tried the bad boy roll, the caterpillar roll, and the rainbow roll. The bad boy roll was fresh and spicy. I loved the lemon on top! We also ordered miso soup and garlic edamame; all which were tasty. I will say that the edamame had a lot of sauce in the bottom which made the lower layers almost soupy but it was a good sauce regardless. I also ordered an iced green tea which was unsweetened and delicious. Our server greeted us quickly and I swear the rolls came out almost the moment we ordered them- it was the quickest I've ever seen a roll come out. In addition, I love that they have a small outdoor area as it was a beautiful evening and I enjoyed that the we could escape the loud hustle and bustle of the inside seating. Overall it was great service and food!

Discovered this restaurant during my girlfriend and I weekend vacation in San Diego. The food was great and the service was quick. The waiter was attentive to everything we needed and would come by to check in with us. The parking however is a bit hectic so do keep in mind of that. We had to park in another plaza section however the walk wasn't bad. I do recommend this place and we will definitely come again next time

Our waiter was very nice and attentive. I think this place is nice and cozy, it wasn't crowded so it's great for a small party to come hang out.I personally had the yakisoba and I enjoyed it, but it didn't stand out to me more than your average yakisoba. My sister got all of the sushi dishes and said that they tasted great. The gochu was sooo good though, I would totally order this every single time.

Food here is decent but the service is terrible. Had to flag down the servers a few time and it was just awkward. Never came to check up on us or asked if we needed more water or anything else. I enjoyed the hamachi kama and stuffed jalapeños. The rolls were decent. I enjoyed the pink roll. Large parking space , indoor and outdoor dining available.

Y'all. .99 cent sake bombs. I wish I could leave the review to just that but I must say, 4 out of the 5 stars for this restaurant come from that. The sushi is very well priced here, in my eyes it's like solid sushi and is really good... paired with these sake bombs. This place is perfect to bring a large group of friends or to have a faster casual lunch date at! My friends and I got to order a bunch of rolls because of their menu deals and we were very happy when we were all full. Not their fault but as this is a busy part of Convoy, parking is a challenge and is something to arrive early to figure out. Also the name is silly and I think it's funny, will be back for the experience!

Simple sushi spot, roll forward, not too many exotic sashimi options to try. The sakeBomb were decent prices. However, servers were taking multiple sake bombs with customers. Thus creating a slow service experience

This is cute little sushi place on convoy. Of course, the parking is crazy, but we ended up parking around the block in the back and walked to the restaurant. Once we got there, we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. We ended up ordering 3 rolls and gyoza: the play boy roll, spicy tuna roll, and the sensual pleasure roll. The gyoza was a nice little appetizer to start off the meal. Of the three rolls, I would say the sensual pleasure was my favorite. It had a perfect mix of textures and flavors. One thing I will say, the spicy tuna roll and play boy roll we got had so much rice. It felt like the ratio was a little off. Overall: 7/10Food: 7/10Ambiance/ 7/10
