We went on a Tuesday evening hours. They are open 1130 p.m. - 230p.m. and then again at 5pm. Plenty of seating outside in the front, inside, inside in the back, and outside in the back. Everything is covered so no worries about the sun. Parking is limited in front and across the street. There is a parking lot in the back but it gets kinda tight with one way for both in and out. We were seated promptly and out server was very friendly and brought our appetizer and drinks promptly. Our food was brought out promptly as well. The menu has changed a bit and upgraded with Tuesday and Thursday specials. We have been here before and really enjoyed the rolls suggested by our waiter but this time just didn't sit right. Everything was fresh but seemed to miss something. The carnitas fried rice was a bit salty from the meat and we did not add additional soy sauce. The rolls were good portions and the bento box was amazing. Our waiter did confirm the menu was switched up a week before our experience so maybe the chef needs some time to perfect the new combinations. We'll give this place another try.

If you're not a sushi snob ( yellowtail etc..) but still really want to satisfy your sushi cravings, I highly recommend this place. This is also one of the few sushi restaurants that offer avariety of other meal options for those who aren't fans of sushi. Although, I wouldn't recommend the ramen. My go to is the Roger rabbit roll. For apps, I recommend the spicy mussels and curry puffs. This place does get super busy, so be prepared to wait.

For $80 definitely not worth it. Sushi Deli 3 doesn't compare to the others. (Deli 1&2)Sushi was good of course but it didn't taste as fresh.Took roughly 45min to get our order. Our waiter and other waiters were beyond amazing so it sucks leaving this review. Personally loved the service but the food lacked. Wasn't fresh nor nothing stood out. Wings were okay. Rolls were okay. Can't say anything stood out. Ordered two beers that never reached the tables. Decided not to remind our waiter after tasting the sushi. Wouldn't come back to this specific location but the waiters are great! Also, watch for parking. It's tough.

I have a plant based diet. I was quite surprised that a sushi bar had a wide variety of plant based options. The atmosphere was exuberant. The staff was friendly and well mannered. The sushi was delightful. I am coming again. And probably at least once a week till the end of time.

What a great place! The spicy garlic edamame was the best I ever had. The service was quick and amazing. Our sushi and the calamari were fresh and very flavorful. Can't wait to come back again when I visit .

We were craving sushi and this place hit the spot! Their menu offers a variety of dishes but we stuck with sushi rolls. They have a short list of nigiri and sashimi as well. My favorite was Mo's Roll- it's on their Thursday only menu. They have a menu that has specials on each day! This place does fill up fast for dinner but there is a lot of seating and bar seating too. There is a small lot in the back of the restaurant or your other option is street parking.

Decently good Japanese food at a good price. Great combos for bento boxes.Probably a better place if you prefer cooked food or rolls because the Sashimi I ordered had pieces cut very, very thin. I wasn't a fan of the size of the fish in comparison to the price. You can see how small the fish is in my photos. I think the portions were bigger at Sugarfish and Nobu! However the service was superb, the calamari was good, and the carpaccio was delicious.Sake Bomb prices were also a great value. Parking is a bit difficult, park in the back a few buildings to the right to avoid looking forever!

This place is the definition of an uncut gem. I came here w my bf on our first date in 2022 and we came back just a few weeks ago. The interior ambience is nothing fancy -- it gets straight to the point ... we're all here to chomp sum sushi rolls so let's not fugg around-- just find out.. I say uncut gem bc the prices are lovely, the quality is bomb, options are abundant, and the soundtrack is quite something as well. I have never been to sushi deli 1 or 2 but in obsessed with the concept of naming different locations by chronological order. Sushi Deli 3 beat the sequel and the original ..... sophomore slump never .... Not here bitch My ranking of items: 1) snapping salmon roll. I am not a fan of seared salmon on my rolls but this ate 2) island breeze. Yum dot com bro 3) sunkissed. Lowkey not good I didn't like the salt I was annoyed asf my bf forgot to order the tourmaline and ordered the sunkissed instead bc the tourmaline was gonna be My Roll of the night but alas we are all human and at such a lovely restaurant what can one do other than forgive and forget?4.5/5. Service could be slightly better. Quality is great for the price pointUnfort this was my fav sushi spot but it has been beaten!!!!!

We were in the area and wanted to check out a new sushi place. My sister suggested coming to this place since a few of her friends said it's pretty good. It's located on a street, I didn't see a parking lot but we were lucky enough to get street parking. I feel like people do come by just to pick up food frequently, so you will more likely find a spot. We got there and we didn't have to wait to get a seat, I have a feeling this place normally is mad busy so we were lucky the first time checking it out. (this was a weekday- 5pmish)Inside decor seemed like a small older bar/pub, nothing that stands out, nothing new or fancy. It is 100% very cramped in this restaurant, people are always shuffling around for waiters and other customers to get by. I can't imagine what it's like on the weekend. We were lucky since we happened to get there when it was still happy hour.Staff seemed pretty nice, they definitely were hustling.Items we got:1. Garlic Edamame- Pretty good, was drenched in soy sauce, a tad salty2. Fried Calamari - (HH special). I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this was and not chewy. I think it's a pretty good deal for HH3. Crab 'Lagoons'- these had more 'krab' filling than most rangoons I've had in the past, most seem to be all cream cheese.4. Best Seller- 4 different rolls:Crunchy, California, Rainbow, DragonThese were not bad especially for the price.5. Spicy Tuna Roll- My niece got this, she said it was pretty good. Nothing bad to say about it but nothing different than other places6. Broadway- Inside: Spicy tuna, avocado & shrimp tempura Top: Salmon & crab Surimi - this was ok, Not sure I would get it again since there is a lot on the menu.7. Ramen was ordered:One with Chicken Katsu- surprised at how good the Katsu was, it was not dry one bit and had a crispy coating, don't let it get soggy in the broth. Broth was a bit salty but overall pretty good. I think the eggs were overdone. One with chashu pork- niece enjoyed this, of course you can never have enough pork, but the broth was pretty tasty. We both liked the noodles. Overall if you like true sushi, you aren't going to really love this place.I think the fish is alright, but a lot of the menu is not truly Japanese, it seems to be like a fusion of different popular foods mixed together. There is a lot of cream cheese on the menu that I saw, but for some quick food, common dishes like Yakisoba, ramen, Karaage, bentos.. etc then it's a place to hit up. If you can, definitely come during happy hour. I would say the wide selection on the menu and price draws people to keep coming. Ambiance: 6/10 (nothing special, a bit too small in general)Service: 10/10Food: 6.7/10

Crowded but the prices are reasonable with many different varieties. Not quite upscale but I like the combos they serve for only around $15 before tax.I go to Sushi Deli here and in Hillcrest. Nice boisterous vibe. I can't fall asleep here.It would be nice if they upgraded a bit but that might be hard to do and keep prices reasonable.
