Sunright Tea Studio

I'm so glad that Sunright Tea Studio opened up in Rancho Penasquitos. This place has one of my favorite drinks: Sunright Fruit Tea (four seasons tea, orange juice, passionfruit, lemon and orange slices) with lychee jelly. I love how refreshing this drink is. I've also tried a variety of other drinks from here such as the seasonal Peach Milk Tea (peach puree and jasmine milk tea). If you ever want to skip the line, you can always order online at their website. The service is always so quick, and they have always had my online order ready before I get there. The workers very efficient whether you order in person or online.

I ordered the Peach Frostie at 75% sweetness with jasmine jello, and let me tell you, it's an absolute delight! The balance is spot-on--not too sweet, just perfect.Now, a quick heads up: this place doesn't have any seating; it's pretty much takeout. But honestly, it adds to the charm. You grab your drink and head out to enjoy it wherever you like. The service was pretty smooth too. We ordered from a kiosk, which might sound a bit impersonal at first, but it's actually super convenient. Plus, it means the staff can focus more on crafting those amazing drinks without the rush of taking orders.All in all, I'm impressed. It's the kind of place you'll find yourself craving and coming back to, just for that perfect blend of flavors.

strawberry coconut frostie (4/5) - good summer drink. would get it with 50% sugar peach frostie (4/5) - would of preferred the drink without the jelly, but overall really refreshing and a strong peach flavorat this shop you order at the kiosks. there aren't any tables inside so it more of a grab and go boba place. there is plenty of parking.

A good option for boba if you find yourself in PQ and don't want to drive to Convoy for your fix.An excellent option when you went to the gym to get a work out but wanted to take a detour lol.Tons of parking, digital ordering and fast service. I'll be back soon when I want Rodrigos and Boba.

Good option for boba. I ordered the matcha tea with boba and cheese foam. The matcha was not very strong tasting, but the boba was warm and fresh. I like that they have kid options for drinks.

I love green tea jelly, and there are so few boba shops that have this topping, so I was very pleased that Sunright Tea Studio opened a location in San Diego! For our visit, my daughter and I got the Grapefruit Jasmin Tea with Tea Jelly. This was a very light and refreshing drink! Boyfriend got the Taro Milk Tea. We loved our drinks!There was a kiosk for placing our orders so there was little interaction with the staff, other than to pick up our drinks when they were ready. That said, they were very quick and friendly.One drawback about this place is there were no seats or tables.

So happy sunright is finally here!!! I've had it in LA n my friends would love taking me there!I would say they really excel in their fruit based tea. My boyfriend enjoyed his blueberry yakult and I really liked the mango milk tea (tasted like real mango flavor)! My recent obsession has been the mochi topping~

My gripes. Everything is done on the kiosk. If I wanted something specialized, it couldn't happen. They have recommendations. 100% sweetness is recommended. MY drink turned out wayyyyyyyy too sweet at 75% sweetness. I didn't like it.They also don't have a bathroom. This purely is a place that's in and out. However, that was OK with me. The drinks were just too sweet. I got a mango coconut. It tasted like neither. This place just didn't fit my taste buds and the workers gad no personalities. They were drones. Also, how dare you order yourself on the kiosk and it asks for tip, minimum, 18% lmao. 0 on that one.

Finally a Sunright has made its way down to San Diego! Unfortunately, it's all the way up in Rancho Peñasquitos and pretty far from the usual group of Convoy boba shops. At least there won't be much competition up here. Not sure if it's because they just opened, but there aren't any tables or chairs inside. And if there were, it wouldn't really be a spot for studying because of how small the space is. Also, orders are done through the kiosks and not at the front counter. I saw one of the workers turn people away from ordering up there. When ready, drinks are picked up from the back. And they came out really fast! Less than 5 minutes. Strawberry Frostie: A strawberry smoothie with cheese foam mixed in to give it a creamy texture. I've had this before and some locations make this a bit too tart but I enjoyed the one from here! It's sweet and there's pieces of real strawberries too. I did notice when they were making the drink, the worker made an excess and ended up tossing the rest, which is such a waste. Too bad it's so far away, otherwise we would probably be visiting a lot more often!

Food- 4/5 I got put on the strawberry frostie, this john is fire ngl. The boba is a nice level of chewy, albeit the drinks are a little pricey but that's to be expected of todays socioeconomic boba climate. I have not tried a majority of their other drinks and so I cannot tell about the quality but if it's anything like the former it'll be good. However I give it a 4 because I don't wanna be biased over 1 or 2 drinkService- 4/5 exceptional nothing out of the ordinary but to be expected of a boba shop..Ambiance n/a- its meh but you come and leave whateverToday I got the matcha oolong milk tea, it's pretty good!
