Suki Hana is the gold standard for food court cuisine. You can smell the savory notes of Suki Hana's fresh grilled chicken throughout the Fashion Valley mall. This was a welcome relief, especially after spending half an hour in the overly fragrant Sephora. For about $11, you'll get a pile of hot chicken teriyaki over rice and veg. You'll definitely get your money's worth here. Enough for sharing between two people. There were a few things I noticed about this particular location. Priced seemed higher here than other locations. They also upsell you pretty hard. I didn't like the fact you had to pay extra for their hot and cream sauces. The location in Escondido doesn't do that.

I recently visited Suki Hana in the Fashion Valley Mall and had an excellent experience! I ordered the chicken teriyaki (#1), and it was absolutely delicious. When eaten fresh, the chicken retains a delightful crispiness with a nice char and crunch, adding to its flavor. However, a downside is that it is quite greasy.Despite having about four people ahead of me, my food was prepared in less than five minutes. The efficiency of their operation is impressive - they cook all the protein and serve it over pre-made to-go boxes with rice and veggies. The veggies were slightly overcooked and the rice is a bit mushy, probably because it had been sitting. The setup is straightforward: after they call your order number, you pick up your box. There are plastic bags available if needed, and condiments like soy sauce, sriracha, spicy mayo, napkins, and utensils are conveniently located right behind you.Overall, Suki Hana is a great spot for a quick, affordable meal. For about $13 before tax, it's a bargain. Located in the food court on the upper level of Fashion Valley Mall, it's easily accessible - I parked on the top level of the nearest structure to the food court/movie theater and walked right in. Despite arriving at lunchtime around 1 pm, I was in and out in 5 minutes, making it a total win. I'll definitely be back!

Suki Hana is a nice place to stop by and grab a quick and delicious lunch. We got the chicken teriyaki plate with fried rice. The portion was huge. The chicken teriyaki was tender and juicy. The fried rice was a little greasy. Their service was fast and convenient specially there was a long line.Overall, it was a nice brunch which gave us energy in the middle of our shopping time at Fashion Valley.

This is a pretty standard place to eat during a day at the mall. The place is situated within the Fashion Valley mall's outdoor food court. The service is very quick and the food comes out fast. One thing to maybe note is that they offer sauces when you order, but they charged for those sauces. I was under the impression they'd be included. But maybe I should've know since there was a sign that said the sauces were 50 cents. You also need to pay for extra meat if you want more. When you pick up your food you can get more teriyaki sauce drizzled on your food though. They focus on teriyaki and have beef, chicken, shrimp, veggie, etc. I got the beef teriyaki which came with steamed veggies and rice. Also, I got a yum yum sauce. I liked the teriyaki a lot. It was not too rich or sweet. The rice was decent. It reminded me of high school cafeteria rice, but I feel like some people might not enjoy that.

Something is not right with this chicken or the sauce ....... Ordered the teriyaki special chicken rice and the usual broccoli and cabbage stuff this is not good. The meat was hot and made to order but too much salt and again rather the chicken is not right or the sauce or maybe both.

Place is fire! Popular in most malls.Suki Hana has some really good food with good size portions. This is just one of those places that you would get food to eat while you are shopping and after eating you will still have left overs if you didn't completely stuff yourself. Service is good , food cooks fast and there is no dine in... just food court seating. Definitely a must try if you haven't already!

Great for food court teriyaki chicken. Food portion is huge and they let you do half rice half noodles. You can substitute fried rice for white rice too. They also give out samples during lunch at the door.

Suki Hana is one of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch in the UTC mall. This spot was originally Sarku Japan and shut down during the pandemic. Suki Hana is almost exactly the same thing with a few changes to the menu. Suki Hana is teppanyaki-style Japanese dishes, cooked to order. Their signature Bourbon Chicken is sooooo good. The basic meal comes with your choice of meats (Chick or beef) over white rice. You can also choose to substitute noodles instead of rice or do half and half. You get steamed veggies as well, but I always as for no veggies. I feel like you get more rice or noddles when you do that. There is also an option to add double meat, which I always do. The basic portion is more than enough. But I like to make sure there is left overs to take home. If you are visiting and there is a line (which is normally the case) do not be discouraged. The line moves fast and those cooks are getting plates out quick. HIGHLY recommend this place. The amount of food you get is worth the price. And the flavors are just top notch delicious.

Worst experience ever- the food was overall ok- the service was terrible me and my friend walked in and order our food we waited, the men in the kitchen were talking and looking at my friend, after our food was ready- the cook- asked if we were mad because of our faces he said this in Spanish, we said no and grabbed our food- he proceeded to antagonize us asking if we are together- he called us chicas and kept saying five times in a row he then said oh there probably mad yea they are look at there faces- we ignored him we were stunned by the disrespect- we never gave him the confidence to asks us questions or harass us with his comments- we left and I told the manager about my experience but I didn't tell him more. Anyway every disrespectful man- give your employees more training there is difference between being friendly and harassing us with comments.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Stood in line for 20 mins, just for them to give my food away to someone else. By the time I ordered and paid it was 6:40 and of course they closed. They handled the situation horribly as they almost didn't give me my money back. Sad part is the food was for my kids, and It was my last dollar before pay day. Now I'm waiting 1-3 business days for a refund, without any food for that day/night for my kids cause the mall closed at that point. Just a horrible experience overall this time. I like this place which is why I gave a tip for that day but, my experience was horrible.
