Shake Shack Westfield Plaza Bonita

Cool to see this there but for the price point, the meal was alright. Service was great. Burgers were not that satisfying and felt quite small in my opinion. I spent about $12 on the cheeseburger with avocado and a tiny strip of bacon. Ordered the cheese fries separately, those were prob the best item I ordered but it was pricey for a small amount. Line was busy for the holiday shopping crowd-did not realize they had a kiosk on the side if you ordered with card. Good to know for the future.

For some reason, I remember Shake Shack being much better when they first arrived in San Diego. I've eaten several menu items over the years: burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, and crinkle fries, but something was off with the Chicken Shack with bacon I had at this location at Plaza BonitaOverall, the chicken sandwich was okay. They went a little heavy on the buttermilk herb dressing than I would have liked. The chicken was tender and juicy, but the breading was not as crispy or crispy at all as it should have been. I like my fried chicken sandwiches crispy, which is the whole point of frying them. They put a decent amount of pickles and a couple of strips of bacon. The bacon was nice and crispy.The lettuce could have been better selected. Some of the pieces were crisp, and others were limp and too soft, like they been out to long at room temp. I think this sandwich would be better served with a crispy slaw like its brother, the hot chicken. Just a thought.Service was friendly enough, as per their conversations, employees were more concerned about their holiday plans than focusing on their tasks at hand. The place is at the food mall, so there's plenty of inside and outside seating.

Finally a popular name is here in Plaza Bonita, and been a few months already. It's located on the top level across theater and the main food court, right next to the doors to outdoor patio, elevator, parking level. Service is awesome and fast and for those who are in a rush, and don't want to get in the line, can use the kiosk on the side to place the order and wait to be called. It's as good here as it's in the other locations.

First trip to shake shack. Semi disappointed. Fries were undercooked. Very. Hamburger was a hamburger. The shake was extremely small for the cost of $7 barely 16 oz. Overall, I got two burgers, two fries and a shake for $45. Was it worth it? I don't think so. Burgers were just okay. Nothing special for that cost. I could have went to Red. Robin and probably had a sit-down meal. And please here in California take the tip line off your registers. We ordered standing up. We don't need to pay anymore to your employees who already make 20 bucks an hour

Outstanding Meal Close to HomeI received a notification that this Shake Shack was open close to me and I've been pretty excited about it. Last time I was in the mall I saw that it was coming soon, glad that I received the heads up that it was open!Parking: Parking was fine for the time that I went, which was 2 pm on a Sunday. I knew that the parking wouldn't be as close to the building, but if you were going on a weekday that shouldn't be an issue.Service: I entered where the kiosk was and I placed my order of the Burbon Burger, Strawberry Lemonade , and Spicy Cheese Fries. With the kiosk, you can input your phone number and you'll be informed when your meal is complete which is very convenient. It took about 10 minutes to receive the notification which is quick due to there were some people in front of us and at the main counter placing their order as well. I also placed another order for fries and received that in under 5 minutes which is UNHEARD OF during their rush hour. I was really impressed!Food: The food was outstanding! Burget was juicy and well done. The spicy cheese fries were actually spicy and had a kick to it. I needed a napkin to wipe my nose which is saying something, plus I like my food with a kick to it. The lemonade was very refreshing and hit the spot as a compliment to both the burger and the fries.Ambiance: With it being in the mall, there's always going to be a crowd, especially on the weekend. We found a good seat not too far away from where we were to get more napkins which we did. I'm sure if you were to go on a weekday it would be quiet, but the nose was good to the point where I could have a good conversation with my family.Overall I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The only way it would be better would have to fall on me. Meaning, I'd have to go on a weekday to where there's better traffic and quieter in the food court. The fact that the service was A-1 during rush hour, I can only imagine how it will be on a weekday. The staff was on it and I can't wait to go back! If you need anyone to taste test a new burger, please don't hesitate to ask :)5/5

The service/cashier was good/nice. There were a lot more fries than I expected. It is pricy, but it is California. It's in a nice area in the food court on the second floor of the mall. We got lost lol as this was our first time at this mall, but one of the other reviews had good directions so I followed what they said. My mom got the smoky classic bbq burger and I got the Carolina bbq burger w/ fried pickles. We would come here again for the chocolate salted caramel shake!

Finally went to the Shake Shack at Westfield Plaza Bonita Mall and quality is the same as any other Shake Shack establishment I've been to before. I love the buns here the most. I tried their spicy fries with ranch and I liked how fresh my fries were. They weren't stale and the spicy kick to the fries with ranch was decent. I also ordered the avocado bacon cheeseburger and it was fresh made to order too. It took about 10 minutes for my to go order to be ready but I didn't mind the wait on a weekend lunch. Service was friendly. Ambiance is very casual. The place is located at the dining section of the mall and walking distance to AMC theater.

I had Shake Shack only one other time and wasn't a fan, but when this location opened I ordered something else and came to really like it! So glad this Shake Shack is in Plaza Bonita now. I'm looking forward to eating this post shopping. I got the 'Shroom Burger and their Spicy Cheese Fries with ranch. My order was made fresh and everything was quickly eaten. The shroom burger is probably my favorite thing here. Their burger buns really do hold everything together and eating was not messy at all! Hopefully they stay consistent with the food here as sometimes things can be a hit or miss and I went when it was fairly new.

SmokeShack single side of fries and coke , some ketchup that's all you need. If they have malt ginger throw that on the ketchup

Good food. It's a bit pricey. But it is well worth it!!! Next time, I will try the crinkle french fries.
