Señor Burro

This place rocks! If you're a local get some tacos on Tuesday. I tried the fish tacos (they're street) so I got 4 and it tasted awesome. From the sauce to the tortilla just great. The hash brown burrito is pretty damn good too. Highly recommend!

The food is good, BUT the menu prices are not correct, asked for extra protein on the chilaquiles bowl and the posted menu states $3.99 and I was charged $5.99, I asked why it was different than what the menu states and the person said that they need to change the menu, and that's the prices . This is bizarre, why wouldn't they change the menu FIRST and then implement the change. I understand that everything has gone up, but come on.... change the menu FIRST!

Drove by this place several times and tried it. I only ordered a burrito and it was really good and very big. I would definitely go there again and try others things.

We mainly go to Senor Burro for the street tacos but also have gotten the regular tacos or burritos. You can't beat the deal on the street tacos $2.49 each. I usually get two fish tacos and my husband gets three. We like the hot carrots as well. The food is consistent and the staff is nice. Too often when we go there is no ice for the soda machine and that's a bummer. There is enough room inside to find a seat whenever we go.

Omg most horrific service I've ever had Now don't get me wrong here. Their food is good and for the most part their customer service is usually good but in this specific occasion I had a big issue. Now mind you it wasn't a big issue at first all I was trying to do was call them and let them know that hey they forgot to put the sour cream in my burrito and the burrito was a bit too salty Now, the lady at the register was rude to me from the gate. She hardly spoke to me. She took my order in a very rude way, and it wasn't until she noticed me I guess looking at her in a disgusted look that's when she started trying to act like a real customer service personBut back to the burrito the burrito was lacking sour cream. There was no sour cream in it. I called them and I say hey you know I don't need a new burrito I don't want my money back I was wondering can I just bring my burrito back and put some sour cream in it and the guy in the kitchen says no And I was like oh fine can I get a new burrito or a refund and he says no so now I'm sitting here eating a super salty burrito with no sour cream in it, and I just wanted to be knownBut for the most part, their food is good, but you can occasionally have bad experiences there and the time I decided I want to review on them was the time I had a bad experience

A taco shop next to a La Mesa Albertsons.I finally tried Senor Burros and I liked it. I got the carne asada fries and they are a hit. The price is fair, the portion was generous and the food came out as quickly as you would expect. This location is cleaner than your average taco shop of its kind.If you are in this area, bring some friends and eat at Senor Burros, take a seat and eat under the watchful eye of their mascot donkey, I mean burro

My husband brought me a breakfast burrito. Virtually nothing but French fries. Really horrible. So dissappointed.

This place used to be our go-to but quality has gone way down recently. Ordered a bean and cheese burrito. The burrito was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. When I complained, the woman at the counter said, well it's cold because the cheese is cold. Would not make another one without charging me. So melt it!! Who wants to eat a cold burrito? We also ordered rolled tacos and the amount of guacamole added was meager at best. Major disappointment

I discovered this place a year ago and it has turned into one of my go to taco shops. I've been around San Diego trying out different taco shops, and I can say this is one of the best considering quality, service, taste, and consistency. They also have huge portions, the California burritos are the size of my face! Highly recommend.
