This place is truly remarkable. The theme is such a vibe. Diego was our server and he was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. Natalie was also checking in on us constantly and made us feel important and prioritized. Service was honestly 10/10. I recommend the lobster baos they were pretty good. The drinks are amazing, the espresso martini is strong and cinnamon forward. The rum with passion fruit and blackberry was my personal favorite. DJ is playing some awesome house style hits. I would definitely come back for the drinks and the vibes. Huge shout out to Dale, Diego and Natalie for making our experience so much fun!!!

Such a vibey spot! Love the jungle theme! The drinks and food were delicious too! Highly recommend the aged rib eye skewers! It does get busy here, I recommend making a reservation.

Came here for the dinner and lounge and was happily surprised by the beautifully plated and tasty japanese-inspired menu! For 4 of us, 7 dishes was just the right amount and gave us a great variety to share. The ambiance and jungley decor are GORGEOUS, elevated vibes and great for a night out. We enjoyed the music from the DJ, which complimented and set the tone. This is definitely more of a lounge than restaurant, so expect dark moody lighting, a gorgeous bar, and small plates for food selection. Despite that, the flavors and execution of the food was above my expectations!Drinks are also inventive and delicious. The fresh carmelized pineapple in the No9 is highly recommended! Sago is such a great new spot in Encinitas. They serve tapas style dishes with Southeast Asian influences. Everything we tried was pretty good, I loved the beef tartare, sweet potatoes, and chicken satay skewers. Lots of cocktails to choose from and they were refreshing. Service is super friendly. Really great spot to grab dinner and drinks, or just drinks. They are open late night on the weekends and have DJs. Beautiful spot with a jungle theme and dark ambiance.

This place is like an amazing jungle hidden in a special corner spot in Encinitas. The minute you walk in you are in awe with all the beautiful lush green plants all over the entire restaurant! The tile work and layout of the restaurant is absolutely stunning and something you've never seen before! There's live music on Friday and Saturday night which is super cool but could be a little difficult to have conversations during those times (keep in mind). Their espresso martini and beef skewers were so amazing! The staff and service was fantastic and the owner (Dale) is amazing, friendly, and professional! Definitely check this newly renovated place out and while it still may be under construction, it is a phenomenal place to go on a date night. I highly recommend!

The food is good! It's tapas style small plates of Asian Fusion food. I loved the sweet potato, bao buns, tomato salad, satay, and skewers! The cocktails are just okay so far, I tried two. The ambiance is casual and sexy. The interior is filled with plants and velvet seats. The service is good, you can trust the servers to give you good recommendations. The entrance has no signal look at my pictures for the entrance. There's free parking behind the restaurant. Good for date night or a girl's night out.

We had a great night at SAGO! They had a fun atmosphere and unique & delicious dishes! The presentation was on point and they had great flavor! Our favorites were the pork skewers, Japanese sweet potatoes & the steak.The team was so friendly & made our visit amazing! Their cocktails were 10/10! My favorites were the aperol spritz (N1) and the N4 cocktail (egg white, cucumber, basil etc. On the weekends they also have a DJ which was so fun & definitely has Tulio vibes! We loved that we could listen to the music while enjoying the dishes. Highly recommend for a date night or fun night out with friends.

This is such a fun, weekend spot whether you're looking for a date night or a group hang out. The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. I really enjoyed the cocktails (I ordered N4 and N4 as a night cap). The service was super wonderful as well! Definitely a spot you want to visit this summer.

Perfect place for tapas and drinks before going out! The food and cocktails were delicious, especially if you're into umami flavored dishes! I was in love with the cozy jungle atmosphere and definitely recommend heading there a little before sunset to enjoy both the light and dark vibes

Food was ok. However the atmosphere and the music were to die for!! So Chique inside! Like WOW! And also it turns into a little nightclub I think around 9 pm? And it's a lot of fun and dancing. Really cute. Great date night!
