Pure Project - Carlsbad

My 32nd(!) brewery visited during my 10-week Summer Vacation in America, I have heard nothing but good things about Pure Project, so decided to save it for last.Rode my bicycle 60 miles to get here, down the absolutely gorgeous Southern California coast, and without a doubt, the journey was worth it. Went with a Hazelsaurus Rex (5 oz. because I'm prolly dehydrated). More importantly, and a testament to the level of this brewery "project" I got a bottle to take with me back to Beijing. Love Pure Project beers. I'm a sucker for stouts and Pure has the best ones. And when they have barrel aged ones, even better! Like the one I had yesterday; it was called "In For The Night". It was strong, boozy, thick. Chocosaurus Rex is my usual go-to I love the bench tables outside. Our big group was able to congregate and chat away in a relaxed, chill spot.

Top brewery in the area by far. Really can't go wrong with any of the brews. Cool staff, cool vibes. Tropical mist and any of the Booches on the menu is my go-to...

Cold beer,friendly service ,informative staff & a great place to hang out with friends & people watch. Today was the Art in the Village & we were blessed to have been able to listen to a band while sipping. Especially enjoy their German Pilsner It was a lovely summer afternoon in Carlsbad. Village

Hooray for the bartender! I was on a walk with my six-year-old and we had a potty emergency. Although there is a sign outside the restaurant saying that there are no public restrooms I asked politely and the bartender let us come in and use it. He was so nice about it too. If I lived in the area, I would drop all my cash here. It's a beautiful environment and the customers seemed so happy.

I had the hard kombucha. Great price, great drinks, great vibe. Friendly staff, would highly recommend!

The beers are excellent and the service is impeccable! A great spot to meet friends in Carlsbad Village.
