I am a bobaholic, and I've been fortunate to have boba all across Asia. I absolutely love boba. When I am traveling, I always look for the best boba in town, or at least the closest one to me. Really, I just want boba!We had lunch on the beach and said we really wanted to find boba, but weren't having any luck. As if we manifested Prestotea, on the walk back to the car... there it was! And we had to try it.When I try a new-to-me boba place, my go-to orders are classic milk tea or matcha latte. I went with a matcha latte this time, 30% sweet, light ice.It was the perfect level of sweetness and was really well made. Super tasty and reminded me of the matcha latte you'll get in Taiwan.The people working there were super sweet, as well. And it had plenty of seating and shade, which is helpful in San Diego. They also had a really cute IG wall.Prestotea stands out as a must-visit for any boba enthusiast. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Diego!

I recently visited Presotea on a work trip. My colleagues and I were craving boba while we attended a trade show and found this location through a Google search.Whenever I visit a new boba shop, I always order a standard oolong milk tea. If a tea shop can't make a basic tea taste good, I don't bother re-visiting.The oolong milk tea was fragrant, not too sweet, with boba pearls that were cooked perfectly.The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly, and prepared our drinks very quickly. When I am back in town, I will come back and visit.

The person we worked with in the early afternoon today was SO nice! I wish I got their name so I could have included it in the review, but they had curly hair, played great tunes, and they were so helpful in helping us assess the perfect sweetness level. Also loved the cute $.25 stickers!!!! I got the lychee strawberry tea and would absolutely recommend getting your drinks around 30% sweet because it was still very sweet and any higher would have been overkill. My bf got the lychee tea and 30% for that drink was also very sweet. Err on the side of lower sweetness percentage because you'll see from other reviewers it's way too sweet otherwise. Parking was super easy because there's a large parking structure with plenty of spots.

Absolutely ridiculous ordered on door dash a passion fruit green tea as well as a jasmine milk tea with 70% sugar. The passion fruit green tea was such a disappointment one of the worst fruit drinks I've ever tried I couldn't even drink even 1/4 of it and threw it away. How do you get a drink order wrong with the ticket posted with big fonts "jasmine MILK tea" and still gave the wrong drink WITH the wrong sugar as well. The drink was just straight up jasmine tea with absolutely NO sugar and the jasmine tea was light in flavor too so they're not even steeping it properly. Unbelievable, worst boba place I've ever been and I'm never coming here again and you shouldn't too. The drinks are so bad, go get yourself some good boba at omomo or anywhere else than here!

Was craving something light and refreshing so decided to stop by and check this place out. It's such a cute little shop. Very clean and chill. Customer service was amazing! The young lady working was so friendly and patient and answered our questions. We ordered an acai bowl and a signature fruit tea drink. The fruit tea drink was sooo good and so refreshing for this warm day. We added peanut butter and honey to the acai bowl and it was delicious. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

I ordered the roasted oolong milk tea and brown sugar pearl milk tea. My milk teas were pretty good but don't order the boba. It was completely bland and not sweet at all. The Oreo cream slush was watered down. and they forgot to add boba into that drink. but we noticed before leaving, and they kindly added the topping and resealed the drink.The two staff members were sweet. There was another customer in a wheelchair and they were very kind and accommodating.Conveniently located next to Ralph's. I parked in the free underground garage.Walking distance to the beach as well.Wouldn't come back. Thank you though.

The people who work here are so friendly and sweet, and the store itself was really cute. Sadly, my drink was just okay. I ordered the lychee strawberry fruit tea with 70% sweetness and while it did taste like lychees and strawberries, it was WAY too sweet. It tasted more like it was 150% sweetness. I had to wait until I got home so I could pour water into it to make it bearable to drink. The boba was also a bit hard in the center, not the best texture.

We tried the brown sugar milk tea with 70% sugar (my usual) with less cream (for a stronger tea taste) but it was still sweet for me. So heads up their drinks are sweet. The mango pineapple slush was good and refreshing, but also very sweet. The boba seemed over cooked (slightly mushy) but it wasn't too bad. Overall I would go again but I would definitely get my drinks less sweeter than my usual order at other spots.

Super refreshing drinks! I ordered the Lychee Strawberry Tea - I've visited Presotea locations in the OC area and was pleasantly surprised to see them in SD. I remembered not quite liking their milk-based drinks before, so I ended up opting for a fruit tea.I'd definitely suggest decreasing the sweetness level because even at 70% it was a little too sweet for me. Regardless, the hints of strawberry and lychee were nicely present - I added agar/crystal boba to my drink and it also came with lychee jelly.There's a lot of seating at this location, and self-service two kiosks where you can order. At the time we visited, there was only one person hustling to get several orders out so it did take a moment, but they were doing great! Location is conveniently by Mission Beach - parking is available behind the store!

First time coming to boba place! We got to have two teas; Jasmine and Sakura milk tea with oat milk and 50% sugar level.Sakura milk tea was fine for the sweetness but the jasmine milk tea seemed really less sweetness with 50% sugar level so 75% could have been better. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe of this store as it looked modernized. This place is located near the beach so it's a good place to get hydrated when you get thirst. Cheers for San Diego!
