This is a "large" bowl for $17. Pretty sad considering you can buy an entire rotisserie chicken at any grocery store for like $6-10.
Chicken Schwarma plate and a "Large" Chicken Schwarma bowl. Both $16.

Beef Tri-Tip and Lamb Plate
This is a piece of packaging I'm assuming from the veggies with a piece of metal that cut the roof of my mouth while eating.
Beef Tri-tip & Lamb plate with a side of hummus & salad.
Chicken kabob plate
Look at the "medium" bowl. Looks small

If you don't care about (small) portion sizes & mediocre taste then this is the place for you.I ordered 3 items: a sandwich, a fries bowl, & a plate. For the prices $15, $17, $20, respectively, it's not worth it. I also ordered pita bread and got chips instead and my bowl barely had any cucumber yogurt. Taste was bland and the meat was dry; definitely not the best Mediterranean I've had in the area. Can't say I'll be ordering again.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. Got the shawarma fries meal and it did not disappoint. Food was cooked very well and made to order with the extras I wanted. Great value for the money since I was able to save my leftovers into my dinner for that night. The only drawbacks are: the bathroom seems to have been unavailable for months. Seems a bit off putting to not have a way for customers to wash their hands before they eat. The interior seating seems to have been reduced by a lot, with only 3 tables now available to sit in. Not sure what happened, as they seem to constantly rearrange their look but it gets less enjoyable with each one. Not the biggest issue since I got a table, but, on busier days it would be an inconvenience to not be able to eat there. Outside seating is limited and shared with other neighboring restaurants too. The table itself wasn't cleaned before we sat down. Minor issue but still, not a fan of getting sticky arms when I sit down. All of the points above shouldn't deter you from this place since the food is amazing. But the Oceanside location doesn't suffer from any of these issues. Not sure if they're the same owner/franchise, but the food is also great there too. The woman working the front that day was very polite and made for an enjoyable visit.

It's a shame. This was my go-to spot, but then they got greedy. The food tastes good, but the price is super expensive for little bit of food. I used to go, but not no mo. If you want mediterranean, go to CAVA.

The bowls here have suddenly shrunk. The medium is like a kid's size so def get the large though its like $15 or $16 now. I was never that big of a fan of this place, but unless I wanted to drive to Escondido this was the next best option for kabob type fare. Rice and salad portion is good. The meat portion is okay, but often salty. I found the hummus and other sauces to be bland.Whether there is one person in front of you or a group on lunch break, service will be super slow. Food is over-priced. There are better options in this plaza (take them)!

The recent reviews you may have read are true. Not only have the prices dramatically increased, the size of the containers has decreased! Did they think we weren't gonna notice? The quality of the food seems to have stayed the same. I know in this economy prices have gone up, but Pita Guys current model doesn't make any sense, and it really bums me out because I love their food.

My family and I walked into this place at 6:00 on a Saturday evening looking for something other than our regular goto places. The place was empty which is a bad sign considering it was peak business hours for restaurants. It shares a parking lot with a gas station. Not good. The place smelled of rancid grease. No ambiance. Just a small suite with some We turned around and walked out.

I was excited to try it because if the number of reviews and stars, but was disappointed. The food wasn't fresh and tasted salty. The portions were also small and expensive. Not sure what happened, but it sounds the quality is different now.

I used to absolutely love this place. In fact, I would visit 2-3 times a week. You used to get what you paid for but nowadays it seems like they literally count the pieces of meat they put in your bowl. I don't mind paying high prices for quality food, but not when it is so obvious and clear that they are becoming chipotle stingy with their portions. @$20 for a bowl I should be full, but the portions are literally 30% less than they used to be.
