When my daughter graduated a few weeks ago, we granted her wish - to hold a party at Pietro's! We rented the restaurant for a few hours in the afternoon for a celebration enjoyed just as much by high school seniors as by the multiple generations of family that joined us (as they had for my baby shower here at Pietro's nearly two decades ago!) The food was fantastic, the next-generation proprietors (still in the family, of course) friendly and helpful from setup to cleanup, and the Tiramisu vetted by our Italian guests and called the best in San Diego!

We just recently went to Pietro's for a late lunch. It was delicious. We had baked portobello mushrooms and cannelloni. Both dishes came with a house salad and garlic bread. Our server was delightful. We will definitely be back.

Love an authentic mom and pop spot that is so welcoming! This place is small but can still hold a good amount of people. We celebrated a birthday dinner that worked out perfectly. Service from the entire staff was top notch. Every dish and appetizer that came out was astounding. Fresh pasta served al dente, sauces (marinara and Alfredo) perfectly seasoned, seafood and chicken cooked just right, and pizza was a table favorite! We all enjoyed the food very much.

We arrived right at opening 330pm, were the first guests in and we were greeted by Sabi, our server. The inside was clean and beautiful. Sabi took our drink order and brought us some tasty garlic bread of which we had to have seconds. I had the homemade Lasagna layered with ground beef, 3 cheeses and tomato sauce, my partner was elated to find they had Linguini with white clam sauce, clams sautéed in a mildly spiced marinara sauce. We ordered a bottle of fine wine which came in an ice chiller. Our meals arrived hot and they were very tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive. We can't wait to return, it will be tough not to order the same delicious meals, however we plan to keep returning to order other entrees and also taste their pizza. We had to order 2 cannolis, 2 go...they were very tasty

First time at this authentic and quaint Italian restaurant. Our sever, Sabina, was enchanting. She provided us with wonderful entree suggestions. The chicken piccata was one of the best I ever had. The chicken cannelloni was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing!! We will definitely be back here again.

Great food great atmosphere , the service is spot on. Very friendly. The garlic bread was delicious, nice and crispy. The lasagna was nice and hot and had great seasoning. I recommend the lasagna.
