Pacifica Breeze Cafe

Very delicious lunch here. I hadn't been in several years but this used to be THE place for lunch in the area when it first opened. More casual, cheaper sibling to Pacifica Del Mar upstairs, on level 2 of the Del Mar Plaza. You can't reserve seats here and it can be busy at lunch. But we grabbed one as other people were vacating. Very tasty Sugar Spiced Salmon Torta, which came with a nice mixed green salad (with blue cheese and walnuts) for $15. Beautiful ocean view and nice patio. I also got a cappuccino for dessert - they use Lavazza coffee and it was extremely delicious. You order at the counter and then they bring to you. It took a bit of time - but you're here to enjoy the scenery anyway, so who's rushing?I need to remember to come here more often - it's beautiful and tasty - and they were very friendly! You can park on the street or validate parking in the Plaza.

The best thing about this place is the view in the outdoor seating area. Very casual environment. The menu selection was okay. Service was a bit slow. We ordered the cheeseburger and a croissant. The burger came before the croissant because they forgot about it. Even after we reminded them, it still took longer than necessary. The burger taste was average. But I found a few hard pieces of something in my burger - maybe it was bone or cartilage. If I am going to pay close to $17 for a burger, I shouldn't be biting into hard pieces of anything. The yam chips that came with the burger were okay. So the food was disappointing. We will find another place to eat in Del Mar next time.

Menu is so booorrrrring.Clean and cold beverage display case.Excellent outdoor location. Pleasant people. Don't let food be your priority... if you live to eat, you may be disappointed. If you eat to live - perhaps you'll be happy

Food - very good. Service - poor. Forgot our americano. Didn't seem to care. No empathy or eye contact for that matter. It sucks to pay a lot for a meal, and tip on top of that for bad service. Will not return. This used to be our favorite place but not anymore. Bye

Coffee and drinks were great! We were not a fan of the fried chicken menu items ( ordered the chicken waffle and chicken sando) , both did not have much flavors go them. The chicken waffle doesnt come with syrup or any seasoning to it and the sando is just the lettuce, fried chicken, buttered buns, and a quarter of a pickle (with your choice of sides) service was nice, but beware they dont take apple pay. But the views and location is stunning!

This is a great spot for the view and to stay cool on a warm summer day. The patio is nicely shaded and there is plenty of seating. It is also dog friendly.You grab a menu at the register, check it out while you wait in line, then order and pay. They give you a number and call you to the bar if you're ordering coffee drinks, then they bring your food out to you. Food is decent and fairly good and very reasonably priced. You can get a lot of standard breakfast favorites, like avocado toast, eggs benedict, and other brunch foods. The fried chicken sandwich I had was quite tasty, with a napa cabbage slaw and pickles. All your favorite condiments like Sriracha, mustard, ketchup, mayo, Tabasco are available on a table inside. For a quick simple bite or a coffee and snack, you can't beat sitting outside at this spot. It's a great location and that's where all the value is, given that the food prices are quite reasonable for a town like Del Mar.

Nice ocean view from this little cafe. You order from the counter and they bring your food to your table. Food was good but nothing special. Dog friendly patio. There's a couple of high tables inside but the majority of the seating is outside.

This is a small outdoor café serving breakfast and lunch items in the heart of Del Mar. It's the little sister to Pacifica upstairs in the Del Mar Plaza. We've enjoyed breakfast here -- and the ocean view -- several times. You place your order at the counter, and it's brought out to your table ... or you can order to go. Many hot dishes here are $2 or so less than the same brunch dishes at Pacifica -- e.g , Short Rib Hash with eggs. There are also pastries on display at the counter. Street parking or park in the Plaza garage.

Waited 25 minutes for this and paid 9$. I never order avocado and toast now I know why. Better idea go to market deli in the same shopping center

Literally the worst! Took over 30 minutes to toast a bagel with butter (THATS ALL I ORDERED) the first time it came out completely black and burnt and the entire staff just laughed and made fun in front of us. Never coming back
