I rather enjoyed the sushi here; good quality and fair prices. I really liked the Cabo roll. The place is clean and well kept. I will say that they forgot a few of our items and brought out food at different times which made eating in a group slightly awkward

I have been going to this place for sushi and sashimi for the past 3 years. But today is my last day. Quality of fishes used for sashimi goes down a lot compared to the past.Flavor of sauces used are not consistent every time.Phone and online orders keep getting wrong. Now I have to look for another place for my weekly sashimi.

this place is always packed! I ordered online and they were spot on with the pick up time. prepare for a 30 min even for takeout orders. the sushi was well portioned and not too much rice. they were generous with the fillings in each roll. the miso salmon was good too but I think I prefer a deeper flavor. it seemed like it wasn't marinated long enough, but the fish was very tender and not dry.def want to come back to try their other rolls, and maybe the ramen! I saw a lot of people order ramen in the restaurant while I was waiting for my order.

Been here twice now and this place never disappoints!! Go for happy hour!!! Must come happy hour! Great deals and still a pretty great amount of food, unlike other places they have happy hour but seem to cut the food half as well, but not this place!! They have happy hour and still pretty great amount! Love the food love the flavor! My husband and I couldn't get enough of the garlic edamame, so good! And $7 for crunchy roll?!!! Sold me at the price! We got two of those and just a regular roll, we were stuffed and good amount of food! We will def come back here again on happy hour! Food is fresh and tasted so good, service is fast and servers are very polite, decor of this place is awesome everywhere you look there's always something to look at.

This is off my favorite quick dinner spots for sushi! The food here is always great and satisfies my sushi cravings. The service here is great although during weekends and peak hours it's super busy and you might not be able to get in a phone call. The ambiance it's cool, nothing too special.

Ototo shushi is one of our top local eats in Point Loma. Its located in Liberty Station next to the USS Recruit (aka USS Never Sail).The wait staff here is friendly and efficient.They have great indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoy sitting outside most of the time.The red tonkatsu ramen is fantastic. I love to pair it with more spicy oil just to bring out the spice.They have various specialty rolls which are pretty good but I cant say anything stands out. All their rolls are pretty safe choices.They have ample of parking, so major bonus when just just want good and quick food.Overall, we enjoy coming here!

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about our disastrous experience at Ototo Sushi Co. We arrived an hour and a half before closing, eager for a pleasant meal, but what we got was a masterclass in how to ruin a dining experience.First, let's talk about the service, which can only be described as abysmal. We were met with a waitstaff so inattentive and lackluster, it was as if they'd given up on the concept of service altogether. Our drinks were nowhere in sight as our entrees arrived. We got our main courses before our appetizers and drinks. To add insult to injury, when we pointed out the mistake, we were met with a dismissive shrug and no apology.It's clear that this place has seen better days. The quality of service has declined dramatically since the last time we visited. From opening until now, the drop-off has been nothing short of shocking. I don't know what's happened, but if the current state of affairs is any indication, this restaurant is on a fast track to irrelevance.If you're looking for a meal where everything arrives in the correct order and where you're treated with even a modicum of respect, do yourself a favor and skip this place. They've managed to take a simple dining experience and turn it into a pitiful disaster.
