OB Sushiya

What a great place! Happy hour every day from 12-6! Great food, fast and delicious. The wait staff is super nice and don't pressure you to make more purchases - we went in for one drink and felt very welcomed. I really like the menu though. Everything looked and smelled delicious.

Consistently the best sushi I have ever had, and we have eaten sushi all over the west coast. The fish is extremely fresh and falls apart like butter in your mouth. The sake nigiri and hamachi nigiri in particular are phenomenal.We have been consistent customers for nearly a year. Every time we have sushi from somewhere else, no matter where we are, we wish we were at OB Sushiya instead.Don't be fooled by the beachy tourist trap facade- you'll never taste anything better!

Food was fresh and tasty. Ambiance was fresh and comfortable.White fish was a bit fishy though oyster shooters made up for the fishiness.Come hang out.

Love the sushi here, taste fresh and yummyI highly recommend Samurai roll and Black Dragon roll, that's some of my favorite in this place. All sushi restaurant will take around 10- 15 mins to cook or making , if you wait for fast sushi then they are not right. The Waitress really friendly and happy to help me when I ask so many questions. Thankyou again and I will come back.

You can find better quality sushi for better prices in San Diego, but if you're in the area, it's not a bad choice. The place is a bit run down and small, but you're in a beachy area so that's expected. Staff is friendly and will leave you alone until you need them which I appreciate.

My buddy is a regular here so when we walk in, they pretty much have his drink ready and sushi being prepared. The staff is friendly, and will check on you often. I highly recommend the OB Lighthouse roll. It is so good. My favorite roll, possibly anywhere. Clean restaurant, and only a few blocks from OB Pier. Awesome spot. We had a very good and affordable dinner after cruising the busy street market on a Wednesday evening. Because of the street market, OB Sushiya wasn't very busy - lucky us! The service was fantastic, the food was excellent and the tab was reasonable. We will definitely return. The oyster shooters were fantastic. Loved the seaweed salad and the salmon miso roll was delicious. Actually every roll was tasty. Good value for good food.

Service is awesome - they're very fast and kind. Great salmon teriyaki and all the sushi is amazing. Highly recommend. Clean and casual ambiance.

This place is delicious. How have I never been here before! This food is delicious. Staff is super awesome and the chef is amazing. Try this place.

I came here just as happy hour was ending but they squeezed me in! My server and the others helping were all friendly and helpful to both those dining in and picking up take out. The food quality was on par with what was being charged, I enjoyed some appetizers, rolls, beer and sake and, while I don't come into OB nearly enough, had a grand old time and was happy I made the trek. I need to come back soon!
