I stumbled upon this charming coffee shop during my drive from Sorrento Valley to Del Mar. While the location might seem unusual, nestled between businesses and an apartment complex, the interior offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with ample seating and a small outdoor patio. I love a coffee shop that offers solid breakfast menu, not just a few pastries under a glass dome and Nostalgia does it just right, avocado toast, egg bites, breakfast sandwich, salmon bagel and a few other choices. With such variety, everyone can find their perfect morning meal. The Morning Glory and Retrocado are a must-try. The Morning Glory is packed with flavor, and the Retrocado is a delicious take on avocado toast. My latte was creamy and rich. So I'm definitely a fan of this coffee shop now and will be visiting again soon.

Stopped by on Saturday shortly before closing. This woman owned business is a bit tucked away, within walking distance of the Hilton Garden Inn. Pros:-they have such warm, welcoming staff -indoor and outdoor seating (love the natural light inside)-free parking is available in front Cons: -n/aWould love to come back to try some of their other options.

I first became a nostalgia fan when they used to come to the lane field markets on Saturday and Sundays. Then they magically opened their first cafe in my same office park in Torrey Hills. Love their monthly specials, food is delicious and staff is always so super sweet and nice. Love their coffee subscription.

Decent coffee from a women owned coffee shop! It's located a little off the beaten path in an corporate business area but the benefit is that it wasn't too busy and had plenty of parking. I came on a Wednesday around 8. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was really friendly.I got the drip coffee and a banana walnut muffin. They source the bakeries from another company. The coffee was decent and good enough to drink without any milk for me. They had either a single origin dark roast or their classic roast for drip options. Fairly priced overall as well.

This is a great coffee shop. I first ran into Nostalgia at the San Diego Food Markets at Lane Field Park on Harbor Drive. I am happy to learn that they now have this brick and mortar location in Carmel Valley. I had a traditional cortado with whole milk and almond butter toast with homemade jam and bananas. They only offer sour dough for the toast. I would of preferred a multi-grain toast, but what do you do? At any rate, the cortado was very well made. It was smooth and rich and perfectly balanced. The classic toast was delicious. The almond butter and jam combination were very good together. I liked that the toast came with a dusting cinnamon. The toast had a good crunchy texture. I would get this again. Service was very good. The young ladies at the counter were very nice. They offer inside and outside seating including free Wi-Fi.

Nostalgia Coffee Roasters might be my new go-to spot. Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff member at the register was SO kind and answered all of my questions about the menu. The lattes were all yummy, with a good balance of espresso flavor to sweetness. They added fruits and nuts to my oatmeal without charge!! The wraps were fresh, flavorful, and affordable ($8 and $12) for the quality. The vibe of the shop was friendly and warm.

Tucked into a business area. Was told by a friend this was one of their favorite coffee spots in San Diego and I couldn't agree more! Love that they source their coffee from women-owned farms. Parking is easy for it being in the Torrey Pines area. And service was nice and easy. I had received a bag of coffee beans as a gift from a friend and I loved it so much I came back for a second bag. They even give a discount on coffee when you buy beans from the store and offer to ground the beans any way you like.

The only downside to this cafe is that it closes at 2:00 PM. Otherwise, I'd be here studying every day! The ambiance and decor is so cute, and I love that they have little jars full of their coffee beans that you can smell. Service is amazing too. Our barista was telling us all about their coffee beans and which ones were her favorite. We had so many questions because we're indecisive people, and she was so patient. They let you customize which blend you want in your coffee too! We got their vanilla bean latte with almond milk and their honey cinnamon latte with oat milk. The vanilla bean latte was a little on the milkier side, but the honey cinnamon latte was so perfect and comforting! You should definitely come check out this little coffee shop.

We stopped by Nostalgia on a Saturday after a long walk on the beach. We were in search for a change of scenery and new shop. Nostalgia is tucked away in Sorrento Valley in a business park, but has ample parking and plenty of signage so you can't miss them. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee with almond milk. It comes in one size and was $9. I'm all for spending money on quality drinks and food, but was stunned by how expensive a cup of coffee was before tip. The coffee was good, strong, but too sweet and they overdid it with the condensed milk or whatever they're using to sweeten it. I'm not sure I'd return since it didn't wow me and is out of the way from my regular stomping grounds, but would recommend trying it to find a favorite drink there.
