NM Cafe

My buddy is a huge fan of NM Cafe and invited me to join him on an impromptu lunch invite... He had an Open Table reservation already set before my arrival. We sat at my buddy's favorite table and were served by Josiah. I wasn't very hungry since I just came from breakfast prior to meeting my buddy. We were served their delicious complimentary popover puffed bread & broth prior to ordering. I ordered a bowl of Cream of Chicken & Cauliflower Soup and an Iced Tea to drink. My buddy ordered their Tuna Melt sandwich & fries. Service was excellent! Food was just as good, and the dining room, while somewhat simple was clean, tidy, and comfortable. We arrived shortly after their opening at 11am, so it wasn't too busy, so we had a little bit of privacy as there wasn't another occupied table nearby. I would definitely return to try other menu items which would've been appealing had I been hungrier.

A hidden, upper-class secret is the Neiman Marcus cafe. Only one who spends enough time inside finds the need to stay inside to eat as well! However, it is a fun fantasy to have a bite with amazing service and complementary popovers with strawberry butter with every meal! Not to mention the consomé that is a wonderful start to the meal. Always good to treat yourself to a nice meal and kind service!

A perfect spot to visit with girlfriends. Excellent service. Our server, Gabriel, has waited on us the last couple of visits, but all the personnel are to be commended. Knowledge, service, personality! My favorite entree is the Chicken Salad and orange soufflé. A hit every time. Thank you Neiman's for staying with us all these years.

Eddy was our waiter and was a very nice young man. The service here is always excellent. I love the puff bread. It is amazing. The lobster salad is top top also. I ordered the hamburger. It was excellent and cooked perfect. Josiah is also a great guy with fantastic service

This restaurant is been one of my favorites for over 20+ years and as a Neiman Marcus (store) Customer I always get top notch service and if you are not a store Customer too!... The food presentation and Quality is always superb! not to mention the amazing service you will get from the servers and management.

Excellent service. The complimentary popovers and strawberry butter were fabulous. The ambiance was great. My chicken salad was a bit plain for the price but my mom loved her tuna melt sandwich. Overall, it was a wonderful place to take my mom for a "fancy" kind of old school lunch.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE LOBSTER CLUB SANDWICH!!! I love the NM Cafe. Amazing service, food, drinks, the overall experience is amazing. My go to order is off the menu and I'm so sad about it. I had brought several friends to try the Lobster Club and when my dad finally had time to indulge, it was too late and removed from the menu. I don't know where else to beg for this but pleaseeeeee bring it back or tell me it'll be back someday?! Once it's back I will update t 5 stars.

Excellent food with professional service in a relaxing environment! It is highly recommended to anyone who might be visiting Fashion Valley. A good place to take a break from the shopping

So I've been here before and have positive vibes of the Cafe. Today we ( 6 Senior ladies) went for our Holiday get together. Gabriel made us feel so much more than special. A Priceless memory. He could not have done anything more for us. Even better than a Viking cruise. He actually cared about us. He gets the 5 stars. Food was very good from all our comments to each other. Ambiance was 4. Music was too loud during 11:45 lunch hour while cafe was packed. Hard to hear each other over it and background chatter. Maybe take it down one or two clicks during lunch bedlam. Can pump it back up after 1 when crowd thins out and people may want auditory privacy for their conversations. Overall I'd highly recommend especially if you are lucky enough to get Gabriel at your table.

Cafe, food and drinks were 5 stars. Been coming here for decades. Our server, however, seemed like he was perpetually annoyed with us. When I asked for the check he shifted to extremely pleasant...when it was tip time. This is a once a year thing we do and come from 45 minutes away. For us, a server has to actually be rude to put a damper on our meal. His colleagues were great. Too bad we didn't get one of them. Hopefully he was just having a bad day.
