Expensive (like almost all food trucks) but excellent food can be found here. You can almost never wrong with French fries topped with delicious meat, cheese, sauces and such. Lots of folks like the Shorty Fries (short rib on top) so we went with that. I think it's about $13 before tax. It's absolutely terrific. The short ribs were as tender as could be. The other ingredients (cheese, aioli, onion jam, etc.) were all terrific. It's about a million calories and I enjoyed very one of them.High quality comfort food and the portion was good-sized. I'm a fan.

Great food especially while drinking beer at a brewery! Shrimp was perfectly cooked and the sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Lots of different options for menu items so I think everyone could find something they want. Prices seem fair for what you get. Service is friendly and quick.

Remember the days when food trucks were considered "roach coaches" and the idea of going to one would make your skin crawl?I'm so glad those days are LONG gone! It's Burger Week in San Diego and this lovely mobile dining establishment is perfectly located for me to meet the bf for lunch. The featured burger is their Wake'N Bake'N (6oz beef patty topped with white cheddar, pork belly, sunny side up egg, butter leaf lettuce, tomato, onion jam, and secret sauce on a brioche bun) that usually goes for $13 but for this week, it's going for $6! (Add $4 for the fries and drink). This is a STEAL! A STEAL, I tell ya!!! One burger would have been enough to feed both me and the bf, but we gorged ourselves (each having one) and shared the fries and drink. The burger itself is well flavored. The pork belly is at least 1/2" thick, and the egg yolk makes this super rich. You see those Carl's Jr. commercials where they talk about big, messy burgers? Those are nothing compared to the messiness of this bad boy. "Monster" is right! (in a good way, of course!) I would probably request no special sauce if I ordered this again. Perhaps because of all the flavor of the burger, I didn't really taste much parm or truffle oil on the fries. Many of the patrons ordered loaded fries, which I bet are amazing! That would definitely be a meal in and of itself though. they don't skimp! There was a protest at UCSD today and the truck had to move locations. I found their number on FB and gave them a call to see if they were still planning on being on campus. They were kind enough to text me directions since I wasn't familiar with the hospital area in which they were at. I definitely appreciated that!

BLT and a side of fries with a coke = 15 dollars. A bit pricey for food off a truck, but it gets worse from here. The aoili tasted like plain ole mayo, one leaf of butter lettuce and two tomato with 4 strips of thick bacon. Tasted okay considering the very plain mayo on the bread. Was not a fan, maybe they should stop using the "aoili". I ordered a side of fries. Plain fries. I got just that, a side order or previously frozen unsalted fries that were luke warm. For 15 dollars after tax and then additional tip, it just isnt worth a stop. A BLT is simple food etiquette and if they cant even do that right, I dont want to try anything else. Save your money.

My husband and I tried their burgers at one of the Food Truck Fridays at Balboa Park and I have to say, I wasn't impressed. The reason I took out 2 stars is:1- The cashier. He was rude and kind of impatient. My husband asked a question he didn't understand and responded with a very loud HUH?? 2- The bacon in our burger was undercooked and chewy, it kinda grossed me out.We ordered the Not So Basic Burger and overall it was a tasty burger (besides the bacon, ugh). The "secret sauce" tasted good and the patty was cooked to perfection. Fries were just alright. It was a busy night for them, lots of orders so maybe they were just overwhelmed? I had heard good things about their food before, and I'd be willing to try them again. Let's see :)

First time eating from here. It's a bit pricey, same with most food trucks. I got the Holy Craaab BLT and my coworker got the Shorty Fries. My crab cake sandwich was full of real crab meat (better than the one from two for the road) and it was good but it felt really heavy. The bread was really oily. I tried my coworkers fries and the short rib was really tender. I would get food here again.

I loved playing with toy trucks when I was kid, seriously ! So when the food trucks comes...I get excited ! Boasting local 100% beef , steroid and hormone free beef, this establishment serves crafted food from burgers , tacos, sandwiches and speciality fries. Tried the "Not So Basic" burger. Prices were fairly steep being $12.50 for the cheapest burger and upwards to $15 for the most expensive. Add in tax at a dollar or so more. No fries included. The burger came with bacon, butter lettuce , tomato and special sauce. Special sauce is similar to a thousand island type dressing and the butter lettuce was delicious ! This was a camera worthy burger. It was actually surprisingly amazingly good and probably one of the best burgers I've had - very tasty and juicy with just the right amount of saltiness without overdoing it. 6 oz beef was big enough for this gal ! Burgers are cooked Medium. Customer service could be improved to create more loyalty. Would have appreciated some enthusiasm or something as simple as "how see you?" Or "Hello." With two people working in the truck, my Burger took about 12 minutes and the fries my friend ordered took another 7 or so minutes. My burger unfortunately was cold by the time her Monster fries were ready.

Our company was gracious enough to have Monster Craft cater lunch for us today. There was probably 60 people, they did a fantastic job getting everyone served. All the food coming out looked great, I ordered a grilled shrimp taco, salmon grilled taco with side of sweet potato fries. My tacos were delicious but I specially liked the sweet potato fries with sea salt. "Just my thoughts " I feel that when food is rush in that magnitude some of the character and flavor is lost. Hope that make sense... over all experience was good, if I saw that truck at an event I would go back. Thank you to MM for providing lunch for us today...

One of my Top 3 Best Restaurants in San Diego. Forget the fact it's a food truck. Their proprietary blend of meats and cooking style is superior to every other burger I've had in San Diego in my 8 years here. Absolutely amazing food. I'm a food snob and this place is A+. I'm always saying to my wife when we go out, "If a food truck can do it so well, certainly a restaurant should be able to". Bravo!
