Little Fox Cups & Cones

Stopped by this elegant ice cream parlor a few hours leading into the evening events of July 4th. The aesthetics of this shop was top tier, with its clean white and gold interior finishes (including golden taste spoons) and its sunset facing windows inviting an abundance of natural light inside. The flavors were unique both in name as well as in flavor. You will truly feel like reconnected with your youth from the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out with ice cream in hand.

Each year there are things I look forward to each summer.  The county fair brings unique food items you can't get anywhere else and the sky ride is an awesome spot to view the sunset.  When my kid had summer vacation we took our annual road trip to San Francisco.  We would hit a different dim sum spot every day.  Lastly I looked forward to a root beer inspired ice cream concoction from Little Fox and Cones.This year's treat was a mix of sweet cream, root beer, and crunchy bits vanilla bits.  Loved the flavors and the contrast between the rich creamy ice cream and the crunchy vanilla bits.  Reminded me of root beer floats from summers past only better.  Meghan used higher quality ingredients starting with Swell Root Beer from a local small batch company.I bought 4 pints to tide me over through the end of summer.  I look forward to seeing what awesome creations Meghan dreams up next.I can see youYour brown skin shining in the sunYou got your hair slicked back and thoseWayfarers on, babyI can tell you, my love for you will still be strongAfter the boys of summer have goneDon Henley - The Boys of Summer

I recently visited Little Fox and had an amazing experience! SERVICE - The service was top-notch; the person helping us was kind and friendly, and made some fantastic recommendations.TACO - The highlight of my visit was the Ice Cream Taco. It was reminiscent of my childhood Choco Taco but taken to a whole new level. The flavor combinations were incredible and brought back so many wonderful memories. It's a perfect blend of nostalgia and gourmet delight.If you're looking for a unique and delicious treat, I highly recommend trying the Ice Cream Taco at Little Fox. You won't be disappointed!

CUTE STICKERS!! Went here after dinner and the place was pretty busy. The line was at the door when we go there and ended up being in the parking lot when we walked out. I tried the Let Them Eat Cake and Principle Trunch Bowl. Both had plenty pieces of cake in them. The ice cream itself isn't anything out of the ordinary. My favorite part were the free little stickers at checkout. Overall, if you are close by and in the mood for ice cream, give it a try.

A thousand times YESSSS, I would HIGHLY recommend Little Fox Cups & Cones!! My first encounter with Little Fox was about 3 years ago, when they were literally a cute little hole in the wall in Encinitas. I had worked a weekend shift, but as soon as I got out, I headed down for a Yelp Experience. I believe it was a free ice cream taco that they gave out. It was delicious, and the employee was super sweet! Life got busy, and sadly, I never made it back to their window. =(Today, they have grown into an official brick & mortar in Oceanside. I was so happy to finally make it out on a Tuesday afternoon. The shop is totes adorbies, and I lucked out because the shop owner happened to be in that day. Megan is the sweetest!! We chatted a bit after I told her about my previous experience. I got to sample 3 of their signature flavors, and they were all so damn good!! This really is the place to come to for unique ice cream flavors made fresh in-house! I love that they source the freshest ingredients and even work with other local vendors to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces! The names they come up with are pretty awesome as well. It's such a fun, cute shop to satisfy your ice cream craving! The prices are well worth it here. Don't forget to grab your freebie decals near the register, but please don't be ghetto and steal the cute golden sample spoons!! They have receptacles to put them in, so use them accordingly. Parking might be hit or miss, especially if the small back lot is packed, but I promise this place is worth it!!P.S. they also offer gift cards! =)

Friendly counter service with absolutely delicious flavors can be found in this little Ice Cream Scoop Shop. We are dairy-free and theirDF options were scrumptious. I had the lavender and lemon - sweet, slightly tart, not overwhelmingly floral, super creamy and delicious. Hubby had their creamy corn with caramel and it was buttery and velvety and so tasty. I will stop in here every chance I get!!!

Found this cute place when I visited Tanner's prime burgers. I needed a sweet treat after my savory meal. Walked across the street and as soon as you enter you are greeted not only by the lovely staff but the delicious smell of fresh waffle cones. Staff was nice and offered a sample to my little one who couldn't make up her mind. Their flavor combinations are unique with cute names. The waffle cones are very good and have almost a shortbread cookie taste to them. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Sweetest little ice cream shop with the most exotic flavors! I had a "rose to the beet" and sampled the "peach please". You can truly taste all the unique and individual flavors in the ice cream. The cherry on top is literally that they add a surprise garnish to the top of the ice cream. Love this detail! This is a must-stop for your sweet tooth in O-side.

Really cute ice cream shop in the Freeman collective. It's definitely fancier than any other place in O'side, and I think the quality is better too. We ordered an ice cream cake for my father-in-law's birthday, and the ordering process was easy and the cake was delicious. The coffee ice cream cake was really tasty and probably kept all of us up all night, but it was worth it. Grab a sample or two while you're there. You won't be disappointed.

Interesting flavors of ice cream, I like this place. Some ice cream is on the sweet side some savory. Small shop with big positive vibes. The servers are friendly and have great ideas on combos. They have some ice cream to go and really sweet looking chocolate tacos. Once you try this place you may end up coming back.
