The food was amazing! I got the caesar salad with shrimp. Roberto was so kind and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be asking for him every time I visit! It was my first time and the restaraunt decor was beautiful. The ambience was just right. Definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely dinner

I had an absolutely wonderful experience trying Limoncello for the first time.-The Staff-Staff and service was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was extremely welcoming and super nice. Smiling, friendly, and social. My party's waitress for the evening, Francesca, she was beyond wonderful. Francesca made great conversation with me and my family and was greatly consistent with her service the whole night. It's not often that I encounter great service anymore when going out, so this experience was excellent. -The atmosphere-Inside the restaurant, it was definitely a bit loud. To be fair, all tables were filled up at the time. Despite that factor, I don't feel as though it made my experience any less enjoyable. The decor was very pretty, the tables were set nicely, and everything had a clean presence to it as well. I especially love the paintings in the restaurant!-The Food- Beautiful. Delicious. Beyond satisfactory! I saw at least three menu items that caught my attention, but I ended up ordering the pappardelle. Though I'd never had it before, trying it here was an excellent first experience! The pasta itself was so good. The meatballs and short ribs with the tomato sauce was good enough to die for! There was no way I was leaving any leftovers! The appetizers were great, too! It gave me a chance to try calamari. Very tasty!Even the dessert was delicious. (I had the crème brûlée) Overall, the food and its presentation was gorgeous and absolutely delicious. I look forward to going here again and would HIGHLY recommend coming here for Italian food done right!

Really great ambiance, lovely service, parking is a little tough on fridays due to the farmers market. Food and drinks were very good! Our table all got different drinks and we all loved them.

We heard great things about this place so we were excited to try! Located on the main street in downtown La mesa. The vibes in here are immaculate. So colorful and bright. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We came on a wed night and it wasn't too busy.For starters, we got the burrata, polpo, polpette sorrentino and fresh bread. For food my partner got the special of the day (Chilean sea bass) and I got the risotto. For drinks we got the limoncello martini and the classic sangria.Burrata: delicious! I liked the addition of the artichokes and everything was well salted. Burrata was perfectly creamy.Polpo: Octopus was a little overcooked so not as tender as I would have liked. But the seasoning and the olives in it were delicious.Chilean sea bass: the only bad thing my partner said was that it seemed a bit overcooked and not as buttery of a texture as he's had before.Risotto: delicious! It came with four prawns. Also had zucchini, tomatoes and ricotta on it. Everything was well cooked, including the rice. A smaller portion than I would have thought but not terrible.Sangria: this one was just ok for me. Pretty one note and felt like it only had wine in it vs. some additional liquor like brandy. I did like the fresh fruit in it though.Service was very attentive and helpful the entire time we were there. Never felt rushed.

Came here for a second time and was pleased.Our server Roberto was great! Friendly and knowledgeable.Appetizer- pane fresco- I love the oil dipping sauce.Arrancini- these were huge and meat filled. Great flavor.Cesar salad- I swear there were homemade croutons on it last time, but they said they never had croutons on the salad. It was a crumb dusting this time. Still delicious but was looking forward to these imaginary croutons.Frittata de Paranza- loved it, light breading. Spicy side of marinara. Will definitely order this again.Pappardelle- delightful flavors. House made pasta. Delicious!4 stars for the dessert- cannoli. Extremely hard thick shell. Filling was non existent in the middle. They just filled the sides which was weird. It just wasn't good. The manager did come by and comp our dessert after we showed him the inside.Happy this is an option in town! We'll be back!

The service and ambiance here are amazing. Our server Roberto was super engaging and great.I think the food here is over priced for what you get. 9 dollars for a side of mushrooms, that we're lacking flavor.The fresh bread is amazing, can't complain there. The Caesar salad was decent, pretty basic for how expensive it is.My wife got the gnocchi which was the best dish. The gnocci was freshly made and platted on pizza crust, definitely recommend this dish.Lastly the chocolate lava cake was amazing. Very well made and tasty.

The inside is very neat, the art work and style are super cute. Miguel was our waiter, he was attentive and able to answer any questions we had. The food and drinks were very tasty, we will come again soon!

These are the kind of updates I like to do. My dinner here was very pleasant and delicious. I came early before the rush and ordered a Caesar salad, Casarecce al Ragu, and some Tiramisu for dessert.The Caesar salad offered a zesty house dressing and lemon pangrattato of toasted breads that were great. I loved that they used the whole romaine leaves in the salad. The salad was very fresh and tasty.The casarecces pasta in the beef and egg plant ragu was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sugo was delicious. It was not only rendered down well for flavor, but the dish came with a lot of it. I do recommend.The tiramisu came in a cute little vessel. It was great, of course, specifically the sweet and creamy mascarpone. It would not have been a successful meal without the service of "Maria" my server. She was very nice, new the menu very well, and made one feel welcomed.

Such great food, and Miguel was an amazing waiter, super nice and friendly! Also Limoncello is such a cute addition to downtown La Mesa, would highly recommend!

Fantastic service and everything we ordered (arancini, Caesar salad, lasagna) was delicious! Perfect spot for date night or a nice family dinner.
