Hotel restaurants are very hit or miss, let's be honest it's also alot of miss, especially when you're stuck with maybe one option for a meal. Was at the town and country for a conference and I needed lunch two days in a row. Both times ended up here and both times had a good meal. First day had an Asian salad with grilled tuna - not the easiest meal to get right. But I ended up with a delicious salad full of fresh veggies, a solid dressing and actually cooked rare tuna which was tender and delicious. Next day had a double cheeseburger with a side salad and again it was a good meal; their house OG sauce is especially good and the burger was tender juicy and delicious. Prices also were solid given it's a captive location if you don't have time to leave. The staff is great as well and very friendly and responsive. Especially want to commend Olivia who was an amazingly friendly and responsive server even when I needed a few extra minutes for an order. You could do far worse than to have a meal here and if you do you won't be disappointed. Definitely worth a look.

Nice alternative to ARLO at Town and Country.Sports bar feel and food.Great service.Kid's Chicken fingers and fries were pretty good. Chicken was moist with a nice crisp. Fries were seasoned well. Portion was huge. Baja Fish tacos were great.Last but not least, the surf/turf nachos had that wow factor. This was definitely for at least 2 ppl. If you're in the mood for some loaded nachos - this is it!Next time we're in SD, we'll be back!

A convenient location while staying at the Town and Country Resort on business. This is a good place to do some tequila sampling after work hours. The server was nice when he took my order and my tequila shots were right to the top with some limes on the side. A cold beer was a perfect complement (although the plastic glass was a bit off putting). I had the ribeye steak with mash potatoes and veggies. Everything was delicious- tender and well cooked steak with a nice sauce.

This spot unfortunately was just not it for me. It just felt average to sub-par all around for me. The iced tea was your typical, so that was fine. The shrimp nachos weren't bad, but nothing special. The ahi tuna salad was disappointing. FYI, the "salad" base is essentially coleslaw/carrots. I was expecting fresh salad/veggies, not something covered in mayo. The ahi itself was fine, nothing to write home about. I tasted someone else's fries and potato fries and they weren't crispy enough for my liking. Service wise could have been better as well. Ambiance is okay-it's on campus at the Town and Country Resort. Overall, I can't recommend this spot.

Great option for poolside snacks. The service is quick and the wings are good, but definitely recommend getting the buffalo chicken fries. One side is walk-up service for poolside food and the other sit down seating for lunch and dinner. There's also a big outside patio.

Ate here for lunch during a conference. We slammed the restaurant. They were not equipped to handle the large number of us. I missed most of the first talk after lunch. After the Long wait in line (15+min) I waited a crazy long time for the food. The salad with salmon was good. The fries were fresh and good but needed a little more time in the fryer. Our waiter took pity on us and gave us some chips to hold us over. We also waited for the check but the bartender Ian helped out. Ian also took care of me one afternoon when I came in for hot tea mid afternoon to work a few e-mails. Came another day for breakfast but everything is prepared ahead. Breakfast sandwich was meh. Would eat lunch here again but not breakfast unless made to order.

Alissa is our server today, she is amazing!Oh first, we ordered the chips and salsa !Then we ordered the shrimp, Lappers kitchen, makes their own cocktail sauce. It is fresh and delicious. Then, we ordered. Beer, battered fish, Alaskan, cod, fish and chips with coleslaw and french fries. The ambience here is so vibrant. We are having such a great time. We are giving Lappers Kitchen five stars mostly because Alissa was such a great server.

This is the more casual dining option at Town and Country. Seriously the food was amazing!! We had a group of 9 and all of us raved about our meals.Service was a bit spotty...we confirmed our reservation 3 times and when we arrived, they didn't have it but we were thankfully easily seated. Also had to track down our server a time or two when we weren't checked on.

While we haven't been to the Town and Country resort for some time, we were definitely wowed by the amenities! As big time football fans, we decided to check out Lapper Kitchen to watch the Sunday games. They had all of the games running as well as a fun food and drink special menu. We all ordered Bloody Marys/Marias and shared the Surf and Turf Nachos - very tasty and sharable (4 in our group) Service was slightly slow, but that was okay since we were enjoying the games. The only thing missing was a little noise - it would have been nice to hear one of the games. Over all, cool spot!

Unfortunately the food and the service are horrible. The rest is great. - served cold, reheated food - drinks came after food - silverware came after drinks
