Koi Sushi

Quick and effective! I loved my visit and will come again. Food is solid to be honest.

This place used to be Yi Sushi and had a bigger menu. I wasn't a fan of the Volcano Roll - it was too salty and lacked flavor. The spicy tuna was spicier than I expected. The Triple Hako Roll was better, thanks to the cilantro adding some flavor. It was a bit mushy, but it didn't have rice or seaweed, so it's a good option if you're looking for more protein.Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience. The service was friendly, and the place was clean with no sticky tables.They also have AYCE option as well.

love the ACYE sushi offer! quality of sushi was great, and taste was amazing! the menu has a few options and variety to choose from for each round! service is OK, the server my bf and i had doesn't really engage in conversation.. lol very blunt and straight forward, can be viewed as rude for others but it is what it is! overall still highly recommend this place if you need a quick sushi fix!

I have come here 3 times for AYCE sushi. Service: this is the only downside. I have to raise my hand long or walk to the front to get the servers attention each visit. I also understand there's only one server during lunch. So just a heads up if that is important for you.Food: Majority of the food is excellent. The cucumber ratio in some of the rolls is wild. It's almost half filled cucumber and the rest with the other stuff. Calamari appetizer is the best calamari at any AYCE sushi 10/10. The "Koi Sushi" appetizer salads are 1/10. Garlic edamame is 10/10! Overall you gotta learn what's goods here and you'll be set!! lol worth the short commute & price.

Don't let the awkward half filled fish tank in the back deter you, I almost did and I am so glad I didn't. We ordered the tequila roll, Hamachi kama, tempura entree and a couple of rolls I can't remember. I really like the tequila roll, there was more cucumber than I felt was necessary but the rice was nice and thin. The tuna was nice and fresh. The shrimp tempura was more like deep fried fish than the traditional tempura batter but it was tasty. The kama was flavorful and perfectly broiled!We returned within the same week to try the ayce. My only complaint about the ayce is not all of the special rolls are available on the ayce menu.

I love this place. The service is great. The food is fresh and nice. The service is super fast and efficient and the price are competitive.

It was good. You can get your money's worth with the AYCE. I like the salmon skin salad. And the karage chicken was good too. The tepenyaki was solid. Roll were good. They should have sports bars n the tv though. Also the waiter and sushi chef could've been more engaging, but I came to eat so it was whatever.

We went here on a Wednesday night for AYCE sushi. We were definitely happy to find this spot. The food was yummy and fresh. Service was pretty decent. I would say this place is actually better than AYCE sushi at Little Sakana in Mira Mesa. Pretty spacey inside with chill music. We will be back soon!

The fish ratio to the rolls were insanely small. Unfortunately the sushi just wasn't delicious. I hate to speak like this about a mom and pop but this is the rare occasion that this sushi simply did not hit. It's sad because our waitress was fantastic! We tipped well to reflect that, she was very attentive and very sweet. The restaurant looks nice and it wasn't busy when we went in. Me and my hubby were traveling through San Diego and stopped here on a whim. Unfortunately, I just don't think this was their night. We liked a couple rolls okay, but their volcano roll, our go to roll, just wasn't delicious. We under ordered on their AYCE just because each roll was disappointing ranging from "okay" to "bad". Probably won't return :(

Found this spot when we were shopping in the area. This place is a hidden gem. The service was great and they offer all you can eat sushi. We opted for the all you can eat sushi and got a sushi boat with our five rolls in it. The sushi was delicious and super fresh. This is now one of my favorite spots for all you can eat sushi. Can't wait to go back again and try different options.
