If you're at the 626 night market avoid this stall at all costs. We paid about $65 for 2 combos plates (2 skewers, rice and pancit) and one grilled balut. We already knew there would be a wait since this was a night market which we were fine with. About 25 minutes later they call our number but they only give us our combo plates because they didn't read the order correctly. We had to wait another 15 minutes just to get the grilled balut which wasn't worth it. The pancit was the worst pancit I have ever had and had a very sour taste to it. The skewers were alright but nothing special and definitely not worth the price.

Let me tell you about one of my all-time favorite food discoveries at local events - "Kano Filipino Street Food." Every time I attend an event, I make it a point to seek out their stand, and they never disappoint. The star of the show has to be their lumpia. They serve up pork, chicken, and BBQ beef skewers that are out of this world. The flavors explode in your mouth with every bite, and it's the kind of stuff that keeps you coming back for more. But here's the exciting part - they recently introduced unlimited drinks, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. These drinks are like a breath of fresh air, not overly sweet like most others you find at events. I tried the strawberry, mango, pineapple, and a special one called Gulaman. The Gulaman drink had this fantastic blend of vanilla extract and lychee, making it super yummy and unique. So, here's the deal - if you're hitting up any event, and you want to satisfy your Filipino street food cravings, "Kano Filipino Street Food" is a must-try. You'll find me there every time, chowing down on lumpia and sipping on those refreshing drinks. It's a guaranteed satisfaction for your taste buds!

I purchased two orders of deep-fried quail eggs and lychee con halo. The total price was around $52. Boy do I feel scammed by this place. It took about 45 mins maybe a bit longer, to get my order. Once I got my order, the deep-fried quail eggs were soggy and tasted off. The lychee con halo was missing a few items in it. Look nothing like the picture. All I saw and tasted in there was lychee jelly, lots of snow ice, and maybe some condensed milk? It was bland. Terrible. I was super disappointed. I get food can be overpriced during events. But overpriced and less than mediocre food being served? Man, I don't know if I should be the one embarrassed or the people who run this place. Lesson learned. Do not order from this place. Or if you do ask how much each item is before you pay. They do not post up the price for you to see. And that was my mistake. I should have asked. I would give them a 0 if I could.
