Great coffee, great environment, great people, the highlight of this place is there is a garden with plants and fountain in the backyard next to an antique store. A great place to bring friends.

I keep saying I won't come back, but it's on my walk route when I visit my parents and convenient. Here's my somewhat updated, but similar experience:I think this place could be great, but my comments remain the same, the prices charged don't match the value of what's delivered. I think they do well because they're the only somewhat artisan coffee shop in the area. The prices are absolutely insane by coffee shop standards, even in San Diego. They seem to have Santee confused with Manhattan. They charge approx. 30% more than any comparable shop in the area, including more expensive areas in the county. Their hot lattes are always bland, zero sweetness or even boldness/complexity of espresso. This is the only coffee shop I've ever been to in almost 40 years that charges you for a half caffeinated beverage. I love a honey vanilla latte and every time I get my latte there's a whole pile of honey sitting at the bottom that's not mixed into my drink after I just paid almost $9 dollars for it with tip. NINE DOLLARS. Their iced drinks seem to taste better than their hot ones, a bit more flavor and more balance. Getting lids onto their cups is always a struggle, numerous times I have spilled my latte and when I feel like I actually got it on right it still pops off half the time. The kids that work there seem to do their best, but as a whole this shop seems to misunderstand value and quality.

I would consider myself a regular. I find the staff there friendly. And they usually get it right. Today after water fitness class and breakfast I was craving their hot mocha that I find so delicious and satisfying. I get it ... sometimes people get it wrong and to err is human. After ordering my large mocha to go I immediately left. I sat at the stop light looking forward to my first sip. You know that first sip of chocolate mmmm.. and to my surprise and disappointment ... where is the chocolate?? Hmmmm .... Another sip taste like an unsweetened latte. To give them the benefit of the doubt on their error I looked at the cup and thought maybe the chocolate is on the bottom. I arrive home and ask my boyfriend what do you think. He sipped. He's so much better than me maybe it's on the spoon. ???? I think he was trying to make me feel better. I didn't want to go back. And thought you know it's bound to happen someone makes a mistake. I was unhappy and thought, I'll call the place and let them know. Hmmm ... I call. I was left again disappointed. I explained that I was just there and I ordered a mocha and it tastes like a latte. No chocolate. I just wanted to let them know so that someone else doesn't get disappointed and remind the staff to be mindful. The only response I got was I am sorry. I felt no empathy. It left me feeling worse as if it's no big deal. Just I'm sorry. I wasn't asking them to fix it. I just wanted to be acknowledged and for them to genuinely apologize for the error. I'm sharing this hoping to feel better. It's upsetting to drive to their coffee shop only to feel ignored and dismissed. If you read through all this, thank you!! Enjoyed my stop in for a Saturday AM cappuccino. The lemon scone I got was also very fresh and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Seemed like all the locals come here for coffee.

We lived in Santee for 18 years and were so happy when Kaffee Meister moved in. Their Christian team was always courteous and efficient and served a tasty cup of coffee. The Viennese is my standard go-to and I've never had a problem. The only complaint is the price, hence, the 4 stars.

Always my favorite coffee shop nearby. Kind people and very friendly San Diegans Coffee is perfection. Ambience is all about relaxing your mind and drinking coffee.

COFFEE IS SO GOOD! Great espresso! OVERALL MENULots of great options! Plus some stuff I never heard of before - great spot to try something new! Limited eats on the menu but enough to get you through a study session! SEATING - SOLID STUDY SPOTPlenty of it! There seems to be some outlets to plug in electronics too! There is ONE 6 top. So probably not the best place for your group to meet up. Mostly 2 tops. Chairs are padded. There's two couches. THE OVERALL VIBEQuiet coffee shop vibes. Friendly staff serving great and unique coffee with plenty of seating!

I'm having fun exploring Santee and was given a wonderful recommendation to try Kaffee Meister from a local friend. Cold brew with 1/2 sweet coconut syrup was my delicious drink today...and it was nice sitting outside in the shade ...(it's a little noisy by the road but still lovely) And then right around the corner is an epic park ...Mast Park...and just a couple miles away is The Mission Trails Visitor Center and trail system. Good times kicking off summer in Santee!

I really enjoy their coffee and the atmosphere! There have been a handful of staff I really enjoy and have gone above and beyond for my kids. They made them mini chocolate milks with whipped cream on top.The ambiance is living room vibes and makes it a nice place for studying or even a date night!

Came here on a Saturday morning and got a cold brew and 12oz vanilla latte.Service was friendly and quick. Parking in the plaza wasn't too bad.Lots of seating inside and places with outlets and couches. There's a few tables outside too. My vanilla latte was good from a texture standpoint where the barista steamed the milk well, but I couldn't taste the espresso shots. They also sell beans, food and merch and have wifi available! Will come back to study/work in the future.
