Hunters of Hendrix

Happened to be in the area and found this gem on Yelp. The guy making my coffee was rly nice. I took a chance on the brown butterscotch latte and he said if I didn't like it he'd remake me my usual vanilla latte which was such a sweet gesture. The butterscotch latte was amazing!! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.

Good coffee , bad customer service. Walked in to an empty shop about ten-fifteen minutes til the worker showed up. No hello goodmorning sorry about the wait no smiling nothing. Not even a thank you from both working the counter. Probably won't return.

A hidden gem! We found the staff to be very friendly and you can see that a lot of regulars go to Hunters of Hendrix. The coffee was great-- better than Starbucks for sure. We'll definitely return!

Based on previous star rankings and our being in the vicinity, we took a chance hoping to get a tasty, fresh pastry and a great cup of coffee. Ordered their drip coffee; one black and the other with a little cream. In addition, selected a cheese danish and an almond jesuite and requested they be warmed. The coffee was hot, but nothing special and the danish and almond jesuite were not warm nor flakey. They actually tasted day old. Totally disappointing, but the customer service was excellent. Better luck next time.

This coffee shop has become a part of my Sunday routine when I'm heading back from running Miramar lake. I usually get the cold brew. It's one of my favorites as it's not too acidic but well balanced. This is the spot get my beans from as well. I use them to make my own cold brew at home. They do offer breakfast foods and the workers are super friendly. They're a small parking lot and a few tables outside. Pet friendly!

First impression review: tried their strawberry mocha recently and enjoyed it! The strawberry flavor was def in there, but it was just a little heavy for me, which I think was because of the chocolate/ mocha side of it. No biggie though, I still liked it and am intrigued to try their other drinks. Service was really nice from the lady who took my order; chatted about manicures for a little. Nice to stop by for coffee, the space isn't very big.

I wanted to try a new coffee shop so I hopped on Yelp and put coffee shop and this gem showed up. I wanted a place that offer food and iced coffee. It had parking it's behind Newtopia Cider. They had outdoor seating, which is great when the weather is beautiful. As I walked in both barista greeted me and both were nice and helpful. I ordered an iced latte with lavender which was pretty good. For food I order a breakfast burrito called The Old Grove, it's wrapped in a flour tortilla, it had chorizo, egg and cheese. I would give it a 2/5, the size and the taste wasn't really there. The indoor setting pretty cute and the bathroom was really clean. I would recommend you guys to stop by. Thank you!

This place is a bit tucked away. However, follow the directions on Yelp and drive around the parking lot and you should be fine.Pros:-free parking in front-indoor and outdoor seating is available-in addition to beverages, they have pastries and breakfast items that you can order-restroom is located to the right of the cash register-Wi-Fi is available-I saw at least two outlets on the wall-the owner was friendly and checked in on guests. He told multiple guests that if they didn't like their item, he would be happy to make them something elseCons:-n/aOther:-it seemed like there were lots of regulars here.

Would love to try their drinks as we are in the area often, but the smell of Fabulosa is so overwhelming we've walked in and right back out twice in the past 6 months. Coffeehouses should smell like coffee, not cheap cleaners/chemicals. Ironically, they have a nice little outdoor area right in front of the door. They would do well to leave the front door open and let the strong chemical smell out or better yet, clean with just a little bleach water or more organic cleaner. Makes you wonder if there's a sewer problem they're trying to hide.
