If you only go here once that was probably enough. This Bayou themed restaurant was straight out of a Quentin Tarantino movie. The interior was kind of dark in one room I thought I was going to play a game of Russian roulette straight out of the Deer Hunter. Or gamble.The people were very nice, very friendly. The menu was different to say the least. I had the hollandaise crabcakes over English muffins with side of peppers and onions. It was full of taste, maybe a little fishy on the crabcakes, but it wasn't terrible. I tasted the sweetest strawberry crêpes that tasted like they came out of a can. However, again I had to remind myself this is a chain type of restaurant.After the meal which felt very heavy. I had to take a nap because I feel I was overly intoxicated by sugar. So warning if you were diabetic, probably stay away.

We were seated right away on a Sunday morning around 10am. Drink orders were taken right away as well as our food order. Our server was very nice and helpful. We ordered our food and waited. Waited a bit longer than normal but the food started to trickle out. My husband and I got our food first and the two kids entrees were taking a bit to arrive. Kids' food finally came out missing a side and that side took forever to come out. As nice as our waiter was, it would have been nice if he came around more often to check up on us, refill drinks, etc. We ended up ordering more food because the kids were hungry. That order came out before the missing side. Sounds like staff shortages in the kitchen. There does not seem to be a shortage of staff in the dining area. Parking wasn't an issue. The lack of wait was great. We would still come back even with the hiccups. The food is dependable. Nothing amazing about it. Just good American breakfast.

My boyfriend LOVES coming here. I wish that was an understatement, but he complains to me that I introduced it to him (because he's gained weight around the middle). The beignets are absolutely divine if you haven't had them! They come with a huckleberry, strawberry, and peach jam as well as a vanilla pudding(?). It is absolutely worth it for the calories. When I come, I normally order the catfish as it's difficult to find, and even more difficult to find if there's creole cooking to go with it. The staff are always incredibly friendly and so adorable. The ambiance is nice, I like the artificial tree in the middle of the restaurant. The only thing I'd add to fit the theme would be some bluegrass music. The restrooms are clean, which is always a plus. Fair warning, it is very popular, so there can be a bit of a wait, especially if you come during peak hours (brunch).

Excellent restaurant based on Louisiana Cuisine. A step up from most chains. However the portions are so large that most people take half of their food home. Can't be good for internal finances. Lots of different things to try on the menu. If you go, you won't be disappointed.

Found this place while we were on our way home after a visit in San Diego off the 15 freeway. We went on Sunday around noon and it was very busy, but we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Staff was friendly and the interior definitely gives you the Bayou feel. I ordered the Cajun omelette with the creole sauce on the side. The food portions are plenty and food tasted great. The huckleberry muffin is a must try. Overall loved this place.

Really unique concept, New Orleans style breakfast and lunch! Great atmosphere and decorations. The menu is fantastic, with classic breakfasts and authentic southern dishes. Food was great! The breakfast meal was huge and delicious! The monte cristo was one of the best that I've had, and the jam on the side was outstanding. The biggest let down was the paper wrapper that the cheese was in was in my sandwich! I ate some of it which kinda ruined my appetite. Food was really good though and the waitress apologized and gave us a discount. I just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else! Service was phenomenal. Great service, she even gave me a strawberry lemonade to go which was so sweet. Overall, this would have been a 5 star experience if I didn't have paper in my sandwich. Although I'll definitely return! Food and service were outstanding!

If you like southern food you'll like Huckleberry's take on breakfast. I really enjoyed their Cajun Benedict and the eggs were perfectly poached. The waffle was a little soggy but the huckleberry sauce made up for it. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and the portion is very generous. Of course had to try the biscuit which was moist on the inside and flakey on the outside. Food came out a little slow but our server was very attentive. Would definitely come again.
