Hot Chickz

I went here for lunch with hubby and ordered the two hot chickz sandwiches, 6 tenders, and the OG smashburger. We also added a side of fries, Texas toast, a strawberry milkshake, and iced tea.Our order was ready pretty quickly! The food looked great and was tasty. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned.

Came to hot chicks super excited but was unfortunately let down,Came in Wednesday night with some friends and the place was pretty empty, the cashier was super nice but we waited really long for our food to come out and I felt like the fries were cold, the sauce was somewhat bland, and the chicken breading was falling off...Not my favorite hot chicken spot but positive points for proving alcohol and the honey mustard was delicious!

Meh....Chicken sandwiches are just one chicken tender and not a chicken breast. Fairly expensive for what you get, especially when they "specialize" in chicken. 6 tenders with fries should not be $30. Would recommend Dave's for Specialty or Popeyes for a better thrifty option. Won't be coming back. On a positive note, the staff was nice and the place is clean.

I became familiar with this brand during my event at Flower Fields, they were part of the vendors who served us food unfortunately the line was too long, I never got a chance to try any, they gave out BOGO vouchers, but then it's only valid at their Carlsbad location so I had no chance to redeem them. So I found out about another location near Mission Valley, looks brand new as they have a person holding a sign at the street corner to advertise for their food.I've been waiting to try their tenders and it was worth it, which is number 4 on the menu, 2 mild tenders with house sauce, pickles, coleslaw, fries and toast. Everything tasted fresh, the fries are well seasoned, the toast was spongy, chicken was flavorful even with a mild spicy, and plenty to fill you up. Definitely come back and try again.

Tasty sandwich and fries! The fries are seasoned and I thought they would be too spicy or salty but it's seasoned just right with hint of spice. The dipping sauce is really good. It's like a spicy Sriracha mayo dip and it compliments. the seasoning on the fries very well. The sandwiches very delicious has lots of flavor. I got the mild version so a little heat not too much easy to pallet, but the flavors are outstanding. The crispy flavorful chicken tender pairs well with the cool, crisp coleslaw and pickle and the sauce they used brings everything together. That touch of honey tops it off. $11.99 for sando and fries not bad!

Ohhh man this food is good! The chicken is quality and so flavorful, the rings are perfect, and it's nice and quiet inside. The OG burger is fantastic! It's a bit pricey but definitely worth coming back to.

The HC sando is definitely worth a try! The chicken tender was big and juicy and the pickles were some of best I've ever had at a hot chicken spot! I ordered the #1 with medium spice and the chicken itself was cooked to perfection and was spicy but not too spicy! The only downside was the Texas toast, although it had good flavor, was a little small and not worth the $1.99 Overall I would give this place a 7.7/10 very solid!

The chicken was wonderfully tender, but slightly over-seasoned. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the Texas toast was especially great, perfectly buttery and flavorful. Overall, a satisfying meal with a few seasoning notes to consider!

So I went with mild just because I usually like to get a gauge before I get something hotter. Mild is definitely mild. Very little heat, I would probably go with a medium next time! However, the actual flavor of it was spot on - I love their seasoning! It has a slightly sweet taste to it, which I enjoyed. That seasoning was also on their fries and Mac and cheese, it was all delicious. I could not stop eating those fries! The chicken tender was nicely cooked, and so juicy on the inside. Sometimes it seems like chicken tenders can get dry but these were great. The sandwich was good too, loved that the bun used was also a sweeter bun because the overall flavors were good together. There was something in the coleslaw that didn't agree with my tastebuds - not that it was bad but it was just not my fave. But overall still enjoyed it! I have to shout out the HC sauce too - it's soooo good! Mac and cheese was thickkk and super cheesy! So cheesy, I was enjoying dipping my fries into it! Shake was delicious and very creamy! Perfect for the hot day today.Service was quick, and staff were super friendly/ helpful. I enjoyed the overall vibe of the place, everything was clean, and bonus - loved all the music they were playing!
