Hilda's Mexican Bakery

Hilda's is a small bakery that has a two block radius smelling like heaven. I smelled this spot before I found it. Their variety is great, their prices are reasonable, and the bread is DELICIOUS! Parking can be a little difficult on a weekend but it's worth it.

The bakery has fresh bread but out of stock on certain breads I like. Great taste and very friendly people.

THIS IS THE PLACE, THIS IS WHERE YOULL FIND THE PERFECT CONCHAS!!!!I've been craving some pan dulce (conchas, to be specific) and the ones i had before were just good... until I found this place I feel like i've found my forever bakery Went with my wife and a friend and we got a box with conchas, empanadas de cajeta y bolillos. We were all very happy and my wife made me a delicious torta with el bolillo. The place is cash only so keep that in mind when you go!Service was really good and the baker told us he might have pan de muerto by october 15th so we're looking forward!!!!

Talk about fresh!! We went at 8pm and the conchas were just getting out of the oven. The pumpkin empanada was amazing. It had spice and was soft. The cookies had a good crunch but still had the softness.

Stopped by this little gem of a place on Christmas Eve and miraculously found some delicious pan dulce still available! Grabbed a box worth of conchas and other pastries for about $13. Cash only!!!

Small family owned business. The pastries are affordable, I spent around $5.00 and got 4 things. Cash only. The conchas were very good. Usually the conchas I've had in the past were hard, but these ones were soft and airy. Parking was easy to find, however I did go on a weekday in the morning time.

I don't know what all the 5 stars are about. Have been here several several times over the years. It's convenient so I stop by... sometimes. It's just ok. If it was great I would give a 4. If it was amazing I would give a 5. Just ok. Any changes I will let you know.

Came here looking for Bavarian Cream Conos with powered sugar sprinkled on top, they were the favorite of a friend's father, who had passed away, and they wanted some at the life celebration. I live in Chula Vista area and tried to find the conos at many panaderías down here but could not. I was so glad when I found them here! And, everybody who tried one said they were super delicious!!! The young lady who helped me at the panadería was very nice. And, although it's a very small bakery, it has a lot of different types of pan dulce; in addition, the prices are very good! Please note: it's cash only & parking is not the easiest to find.
