Haven is a very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop close to North Park/Heading to South Park. This shop carries sweet and savory pastries and a few other cafe essentials such as bagels, sandwiches, toast, and of course some delicious coffee! In this post you'll see their seasonal Lemond Almond Latte with oat milk -- I was OBSESSED. I am a huge lemon girl, and when the barista told me it taste like a lemon poppyseed muffin I was sold. It wasn't overly sweet either which was great! Next to it is their Ube Matcha which was a great balance and not too sweet either. Highly recommend! There is a great amount of seating both indoor and outdoor (including communal seating) that provides a great space for work, study, catching up with friends, etc.

Stopped by for coffee since I was in the area. I didn't realize it was a sister establishment to Communal until I saw their cups.Loved the space as there's plenty of seating! Parking around the coffee shop can be difficult. The Hazelnut Brown Sugar latte tasted like a normal latte as I couldn't taste the hazelnut and brown sugar. I wish those flavors came through a little more.

Stopped by Haven to read a little and sketch and when I went on a Monday - it was not that busy. It's such a cute store with seats/outlets in the inside and then more seating in the back. I guess you can rent this place out and overheard some people looking around. I got the vanilla latte and enjoyed it and thought it was overall a cute place. Since all the tables inside are communal, I feel like it would be an easy spot to make conversation and meet people in the community.

It wasn't outstanding and I wasn't super impressed. But the interior and the service was very very good and so cute! I might need to try a different drink but I wasn't in love.

This is a pleasant coffee shop and event space by Communal Coffee. They offer a great inside and outside patio for special events. On the inside front of the building, they have a coffee kiosk. They offer baked goods, bagels, breakfast bagels, sandwiches, sandwiches, granola bowels, and avocado toast. Unfortunately, they did not have any bagels when I stopped in Saturday morning, but they did make me a delicious matcha latte with whole milk. The latte offered a touch of sweetness by the touch of honey I asked for, but at the same time, it offered that invigorating natural matcha flavor.The two young ladies working the day I visited were very nice and welcoming. I hope that next time I visit, they have the breakfast bagel sandwich I wanted to order.

Great spot to work from! Lots of seating and outlets available both indoors and outdoors. I got the lavender lemonade, but they have a lot of the same menu items you can find at the main Communal Coffee location.

Very cute space in South Park (bordering North Park near the Taco Stand). A sister store of Communal Coffee so the aesthetic is pretty similar. Coffee is pretty good but the matcha was just alrightThere is a communal seating area inside with 2 long tables and lots of patio seating outside with outlets along the sides which is great for a sunny day.

This shop is so cute and I love checking out the new items they add often. I noticed they added Communal coffee inside so we dropped by to give it a taste. We got the mocha and ube matcha along with ham/cheese pastry and gf lemon poppy seed muffin. Both drinks were very good, not too sweet and just right. The pastries were nice with the exception of the ham and cheese, it would be better if it was served warm. They have a couple tables outside with option of sitting inside, which is great. As for the service, it was meh, the gal was transactional and not upbeat at all which is why I rated lower stars. In my opinion for a $28 pastry/coffee tab it better come with some great friendly inviting service too.

An airy space with an efficient breakfast menu including all of the staples. I thought the flavors of the food and drinks were spot-on although disappointed at the size of my breakfast sandwich. I had a nice time browsing their unique home goods selection, their resident plants need some TLC though. I'd come back as a pedestrian in the area and would be curious what events they host as that is their primary business model from the looks of it. Glad they listened to the community and offered coffee and treats in the mornings. Would come back simply because of how close it is to my Mom's house.

Not my cup of tea... their matcha oat, matcha almond, & matcha ube had no flavor whatsoever.. just tasted like milk even asking for extra matcha, don't recommend it!
