My friends and I stopped by Happy Medium on July 4th and the bar was packed around 9:30 p.m. My large party of six got lucky and managed to find standing room next to the window because a party was just leaving when we arrived.When we were seated, a server promptly came over to take our drink orders. The cocktails here are awesome! I really like the drink menu design -- separating out boozy "sippers", "porch pounders", slushes, and even boiler makers.Throughout the night, I stuck with whiskey based drinks. The high fashion -- bourbon, pineapple benedictine, angostura bitters, and zlatan -- rye, vanilla, swedish punsch, absinthe, and angostura bitters, were well-made cocktails that I would happily order again.My friends and I ended up getting three rounds of drinks because we enjoyed the atmosphere so much. I can't wait to stop by again to try out some of their food, as the menu sounds delicious.
