This is probably my favorite place to get a strudel in San Diego. Ordering is super easy with their online system and you just choose a pick up time that works for you. I usually get the strudel and will add chocolate to it depending on the mood. Service is great and this bakery will be my go to if I need to bring sweets for a party or just to treat myself.Very easy to find parking since it shares a huge parking lot. They have a pick up window on the left side or you can walk in from the front if you decide to peruse their offerings.

This review is for my recent visit. The items I chose were stale. And what is the clear jelly substance they put on the fruit now? I would suggest going very early in the day to make sure you get things that are fresh. The strawberry pound cake I got was so hard and I couldn't get past the jelly looking substance either. I don't remember them putting that before.. hmm.I've been here on a few occasions just for the fresh fruit tart but that was years ago. They do have a quite a few different sweets, maybe I just went at a bad time.

Love this place. My go to is the fruit strudel; highly recommend it. I got my coworkers hooked on it. We like to switch it up and instead of always taking a cake I'll take a fruit strudel.I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience.The lines haven't been long since they remodeled; very quick service!

Delicious bakery - famous for their fruit strudels. You can get a full size strudel or by the slice. Remember to take a ticket when you enter, this is how they provide service. My favorite pastries are the cinnamon rolls and the cheese danish ($3.30 each). They keep fresh even the next day. They also serve Moto coffee and they have a few tables outside shaded by the roof, if you want to enjoy the goodies straight away. Starbucks is also in the same lot if you want a different beverage with your goodies. I've ordered cakes online over the holidays and at busy times. They have a very organized system and have never messed up an order. Solid bakery worth supporting. Saturdays are busy but the line moves fast.

Yes, yes, yes!Hans and Harry's is a staple that never disappoints. Delicious, reasonably priced pastries, friendly staff, and lots of parking...you gotta love it!Although renowned for their fruit strudel, you'll be pleasantly surprised to know that they've got plenty more tricks up their sleeve; their almond croissants are one of my favorites in town, and they're one of the cheapest too ($3.99)! Whether you've got a craving for pineapple upside down cake (individual round or full size), apple caramel coffee cake, lemon bars, creme brulee, bear claws, or a whole lot more, H&H's has got you covered. Bring a box of these to work, and you'll be adored all year.If you want larger cakes or strudels, order them ahead of time to ensure you get one. The strudels do sell out.They also have gluten free offerings that are prepared in a separate facility to ensure there's no cross contamination.Don't believe me, go get you some! Local bakery located in Bonita serving up some of the best fruit strudels you'll find in San Diego! The Bavarian cream they put on these things is by far the best that I've tried so far. The strudels are sold as individual pieces or an entire log. Typically when I order these for get together or potlucks, it's always a crowd pleaser.Since the expansion of the store, the entrance door is on the far right. You go in, get a ticket number and wait to be called. On weekends, the line is out the door, but service is really good so the line moves quickly. There is a large selection of desserts to choose from but my typical favorites and go tos are anything with the Bavarian cream. They have a pretty basic coffee menu, I believe it's just hot black coffee and no specialty drinks. There is no seating inside the store, but have a few tables outside.

Thai bakery has changed a ton! It's really big and spacious now. I had not been here in a long time. The selection is still pretty much the same. The portions are BIG. It's really fresh, quality baked goods. I ordered an apple Bavarian pocket...WOW. The bread was so fluffy and moist and I totally looooooooove their Bavarian cream. I'll pretty much eat anything with their Bavarian cream on it. The croissant was MASSIVE and just so super moist and fluffy. The staff is organized and very nice. I stopped coming here for a long time because the staff was just so intolerable. But I'm glad to say that it's a whole new set of people and they were very friendly and accommodating. Parking isn't ever an issue in this shopping center.
