Ok my friends and you know who you are !! I don't just write stuff to write it ?? I try places out first to see if the food is legit !! Well this small place is the real deal. The wife and I have had the tortas and the natural juices here and they are superb! Ok today I ordered a lox and bagel that was so fresh and tasty I just had to post it . On the menu it just calls it a salmon torta ohhh no my friends this is much more . The quality of the lox was very fresh .I've had many lox an bagels but never with lime for squeezing. So great ! The counter person was very nice !! I've paid as much as $20 bucks plus !! This was at a price point of $11 wow !! If you like lox as much as I do try this place !! You won't be sorry!!

My favorite Fruiteria Cafe in San Diego. Frutas has been around for years especially in the South Bay & they have grown to a few shops now. Known for their fresh fruit, juices, smoothies but they also have good fresh sandwiches & tortas. The customer service here is very good, always nice & helpful & it's always very clean in here, you can smell the Lavender Fabulouso as you walk in like at your Tia Guadalupe's house. Sometimes there can be a little wait but remember it's all fresh :)My favorite item here is the Torta De Lomo, the best Lomo Torta in all SD, ask for extra sauce. The Torta De Milanesa is also one of the best you'll find in SD, my kids & wife's favorite. They also have a very good Tuna sandwich here cold or hot, get an Agua with your meal their good. I'm not much of a Bagel or breakfast guy BUT they got an amazing Breakfast Bagel that I look forward too the times I come in the morning. Over all a very good Fruta shop that I will continue to be a loyal customer of & visit. Keep up the good job Frutas & see you sooner than later :)

0 stars. The worker mopped a circle around me 40 minutes before closing time. Waited over 15 minutes for 2 overpriced chamangos

I've been standing at the register for 10 min now and no one from the back has at a minimum said I'll be right with you, they make eye contact but will not say anything. It's 4:45 pm and only two ladies already eating in the dining area. Finally someone came out and not even a "thank you for waiting" I'll avoid this location in the future or this business completely, nothing is that great to put up with terrible customer service or to made to feel like you are bothering them.

I ordered a veggie sandwich and they forgot the avocado. I literally paid almost $15 for lettuce,tomato, and cheese. I wouldn't mind the cost if they got it right. They even gave me the first slice of their loaf of bread which was smaller and harder. I stopped going to their Bonita location because of things like this but it's the same at this location.

We enjoy their torta de milanesa which is huge! I usually share it with my husband and buy one of their very generously served fruit salads! This place gets 4 stars for service because sometimes the food is ready promptly and other times the wait for it is longer. The ambiance is casual and clean. Comfortable enough to sit and eat there although most of the time I take my order to go! Must try their torta de milanesa and fruit salads there!

One of my favorite place to get an açaí bowl from & their mango smoothie is always really good too!

The staff here lacks customer service training. The employee that assisted me was too distracted to notice he was handing me the cash I had just paid with back to me lol. I laughed it off and told him to keep it as he was handing it to me. Paid $13 for an ok smoothie that is taking over 15min to receive during dead time. They also falsely advertise Free Wifi both here on Yelp and on their actual door. I came to work a little while enjoying my smoothie and the employees refused to share the "Guest" password. Don't advertise something you don't offer! I won't be returning or recommending this location to anyone. I'm still waiting for my smoothie and two customers that ordered food after me already received it and left (No, they weren't pick up orders. These people were behind me in line, ordered and paid after me) lol.

Food is good in general. However it's somewhat annoying when i order and the cashier person doesn't know any english.. i know it's a mexican owned business but like .. at least have someone that can understand and speak english somewhat. So we both don't look confused at each other tryna figure out a way to communicate. Other than that it's a good place. Just need to hire english speakers! The place is stationed in San Diego so... please
