Great food. Best Mex Fish in Escondido!Pescado Fresca! The sides are good but the Verde Salsa is amazong. Very Hot. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Service and ambiance are terrific but there is a busy 4 lane road outside.

+5 Stars for the Fish and Lobster Tacos, 0 Stars for the Steak Taco (admittedly my fault for ordering beef at a fish place), but -2 Stars for the LACK OF AIR CONDITIONING in the dead center of Summer (you can even see a giant industrial AC unit on the roof, but only slow spinning fans on the inside with all the doors WIDE OPEN.If you're coming here from late September-April, it's a 5 Star Fish Place... if you're coming here when it's hot? Best of luck to you...Great hot food... needs Air Conditioning to really enjoy it though...

Waiter was very friendly and attentive. We got a free refilled on the Orchata drink. When you come in you get free tostadas with sauce. We order Fish, Shrimp, Lobster and Spicy Octopus Tacos. The fish tacos were the best ones from all the tacos. The shrimp and lobster tacos were bland no flavor. The spicy octopus was overwhelming with spicy sauce. The Mojito was pretty watery and I did not taste any alcohol in it. Not worth the $12 I paid for it. Overall the service is great but food and drinks were not the best.

We have heard great things about this place, and overall we had a great experience. I was recommended the mango margarita, i don't like my drinks too sweet and both (yes I ordered 2) came out to perfection! Probably best mango margarita I've ever had.Service was great! Chips and salsa to start were yummy. Salsa was spicy and good! The ceviche tostada was soooo yummy. I could eat like 5 of those lol. Portion wise, the Mahi Mahi entree I got was big and allowed me to share with my little one. I had to order another side of rice because the "bed" that they say the fish comes on was not enough. I was also surprised with how small the portion of beans was. Cute container though. Take note: my daughter has a wheat allergy (i didn't say anything because i didn't think there would be a contamination because everything we ordered had 0 wheat) but she definitely broke out in hives after eating something off my plate. I think it was in the beans but I didn't ask... she only had a little so it wasn't a very big deal, thankfully no epipen needed, but luckily I didn't give her much. Food was delicious! Will be back forsure with lessons learned about the allergy ordeal.

Great seafood and a lot to choose from! Food: 4/5. I enjoyed the seafood options and it was honestly so hard to choose what to order. To drink, I started with the cucumber jalepeno margarita. There was way too much ice and not much flavor. A pass for me, especially for the price. I then switched to horchata and it was the best horchata I've ever had! Perfectly sweet and refreshing. For dinner, I had the four tuna burrito. It was pretty good, but I thought the beans stole the show. Absolutely amazing beans! My husband got the "Torre" sky scrapper tostada. That was very fresh and perfect for summer! We also shared some fish and shrimp tacos that were delicious. Atmosphere: 4/5. At first we were a little lost and wasn't sure we were at the right place. Once we found it and got inside it was a fun atmosphere. We sat inside due to the heat, but the patio looked like a good spot as well. Service: 4/5. Our waitress was really nice and helpful when ordering. There were a couple of times the wait seemed a little longer than expected, especially getting my husband's food. Kid friendly: 4/5. We took our two little ones and it was great! They had high chairs and a couple kids menu items.

A rare find! Reasonable prices- the most delicious beans, huge menu and fabulous service! Tried the taco dorado, lobster taco and fish taco. All were tasty- a light batter on the fish, lots of cotija cheese on the dorado and lobster with a flavorful sauce. Pineapple jalapeno margarita was super good and beer selection on point. Chips and salsa fresh and perfect. A little hard to find in the shopping center but the patio helps to locate it. Restaurant gets very warm inside just FYI

I had mixed feelings about the food. The burrito lobster was good but the burrito was kind of empty on the sides. It didn't have much lobster in it and my daughter had asked for a seafood salad and the two orders were $52. The service was great as it was fast and seamless and the lady was nice and suggested what was good. The ambiance was okay.

Tried this on a recommendation from a friend. Great recommendation! We went on a Tuesday evening toward the end of the night so they were trying to serve us and the few remaining customers while getting ready to close. Service could have been considered a little slow, but it is all made fresh, and it was late so props for great food while managing everything else. We had fish taco, Gobernador (chopped shrimp/cheese), and a ceviche tostada. All of it was great and I found my new favorite fish taco! Yay me!! We succumbed to the temptation of the Chocoflan and are we glad we did!! Best Chacoflan ever. E. V. E. R. I am determined to try the entire menu but there's a problem . . . I doubt I'll ever go again without ordering a fish taco and Chocofla, so that doesn't leave room for a lot of experimentation each trip. Guess that means many many trips. Everyone seemed to genuinely be enjoying their food and food were asking others what they ordered. It was a great time. They have a nice outdoor area though we opted for eating inside. The only thing that was distracting is the fans directly under the lights making a strobe effect inside. We sat in the corner that had the least strobe effect and next time we'll probably opt for eating outside. All in all I highly recommend this place with helpful/friendly servers and great food at very reasonable prices!

A coworker of my husband recommended Four Tunas. Escondido sure has good Mexican food! If you're looking for more of a restaurant and not like street tacos, this place is good.Plenty of outside seating. Inside as well. We got various things to try. The 3 sampler Aguachile, Campechana, ahi tuna tostada, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and octopus tacos. The traditional aguachile was good, the other 2 variety were meh. Not enough tartness for me. The ahi tuna tostada had this jalapeño sauce on it, it was delicious. Gave it a spice kick. I enjoyed my octopus taco. Lots of pieces of octopus and it wasn't overly chewy. They also serve cheladas and margaritas. It was quite expensive for Mexican food though. Prices are Old Town San Diego prices. I still love my street tacos at TJ tacos! But if looking for a more fancy, this hits the spot. Service was meh. The lady was really busy. And took awhile for ordering and getting bill or attention. There was like a 10 year old kid working, probably owners son? He was good! Should have given him the tip.

We have been at Four Tunas at least 6 times and I just haven't have the time to leave a review. Service, 5 stars, ambiance is casual, good for families and has outdoor seating. Now the food...really, really good. Great flavor! From the tacos, the cocktails to the tostadas, everything we've tried it's good. My two favorites are the four tunas dorado taco and the four tunas tostada. Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly also.
