Where do I start ?Very great and welcoming staff , had us seated in a timely manner.I got the sopes and wow for only being 2 very good and filling. Chips and salsa to start off. The server was top of his game and addressed all of our needs.Look forward to returning here and maybe try something new.

A wonderful woman who worked at our hotel recommended this place. She said the meatball soup was her favorite. I will likely never forget the meatball soup I had here. I went home and tried to make it. And it wasn't even close to as good. But I will keep trying all my life if I have to.My family and I came in for happy hour. We sat at the bar and ordered a bunch of appetizers (and soup, even though it was HOT).The only downside was that I felt like a major inconvenience to the staff when I came into the bar, so I tried to sit downstairs but it was so stuffy and hot. Nonetheless, I would still come here for the happy hour and SOUP!!!!

This place used to be amazing, but I went yesterday and it was strait trash. No other way to articulate that. Where do we start?The Salsa with chips have always been not the highlight of the show by any means, but chips were cold. I ordered a Supreme Tostatada which came with Grey Guac, burnt shreded beef and cold beans. My son got Rolled tacos, which were also burnt and the oil tasted like they are not changing it. Everything wasnt fresh. My wife got tacos, and again, her meat was burnt. It was mothers day, so I expected lines out the door like it used to be, and nope. There was parking everywhere, nobody inside. THey are getting ready to close down... Sad. Used to be one of my go to for Mexican food in the beach areas. Service was also poor, (However I did tip 22% because Im positive they can use the money with as dead as that place was) but everything I asked for it was like I was pulling teeth. Just close it down , peel the bandaid off.

Came here to grab dinner and it was pretty busy for a Thursday night.I got the chicken enchiladas and I didn't realize the enchilada would be encased in chicken skin. The peppers and cheese inside were bland so relied heavy on the flavor from the chicken skin. Overall, it felt very heavy. The rice didn't have much flavor and the beans were decent.Service was not great as our server kept forgetting things.

Ah Fidel's, beloved Mexican restaurant that's a favorite among locals and been around over 60 years. We always have a great time here- very generous portions, delicious food and fun atmosphere. This is a family friendly restaurant, and prices can't be beat! Chicken rice soup is my favorite

I love visiting this area to get their Chicken Enchiladas! Their verde (green) sauce is to die for. Such a fresh taste. Their chips and salsa are great as well! Their Bunuelos are also so crispy and the best sweet treat! Their rice is also killer! The service is always amazing and servers are always attentive. The restaurant is such a cool spot!

Front parking is limited but they have a lot on the side of the building! This is great for couples and larger parties.We were immediately seated and chips/salsa are given for free. Chips were nice and hot and salsa is a pretty liquid based salsa. Not chunky at all but a nice spicy kick.Menu is pretty big - lots of options and the proportions are pretty large so we had to take our leftovers home. Service was decently quick - went for lunch at around 1pm on a Saturday.I ordered the Chorizo con Huevos from the tradicionales section of the menu and it was delicious! Half of the plate was the Chorizo and then beans and rice with cheese melted over top. I got flour tortillas and it was perfect all together. I'd say it was worth the price since I was so full still have a good sized leftover for lunch tomorrow!

Fidel's has been in Eden Gardens since the 1960's when Fidel Montanez started selling tacos in his barber shop. Now it's enormous and most of the structure was not in use for a weekday lunch. I wandered around after I placed my order. So many old photos and artworks to gaze upon.Lunch started with complimentary chips. They were hot but missing the greasy freshly fried aroma. I didn't really like the flavor which made me think of those party size bag of chips where the price is good but you wonder about the quality.Carne asada taco with flour tortillas. Carne asada was tender and had a beef flavor with a hint of sweetness from being marinated. 2 tortillas hid the flavor of the beef. Tasted better with just 1 tortilla.Carnitas taco with flour tortillas had pork which was dry and had minimal flavor. I had to drink a lot of soda water to stay hydrated. Even after I removed a tortilla it was hard to taste the flavor of the pork.Tacos were $6.95 and large size. 2 were perfect for lunch. This is not a good place to order tacos plain as the double flour tortillas overpowered the flavors from the meat. This is a great place to socialize as there are lots of drink options, staff was real nice and I really liked how this place looks.
