Hidden gem in San Diego! Highly recommend if craving ceviche. Small ceviche is enough for two people. All very delicious and staff is very attentive.

By far one of the best ceviches I've ever had!!! Can't wait to come back and have been fighting daily the urge to drive from Newport Beach to Logan Heights in SD for their ceviche prieto. Bien hecho amigos!!

The Aguachile Prieto is amazing! 10/10 Nice sized portion as well - large definitely is enough for two people. The shrimp / octopus cocktail was okay 7/10, cooked shrimp and cooked octopus were decent and the flavor was okay. Quesabirria tacos 9/10. The consomé is very soupy but very flavorful. The spot is very hip and service is quick. Street parking only. Inside and outdoor tables. Cash/venmo/zelle.

I had been meaning to try this place for a while now and I finally got the chance to get out there. I will start off by saying yes the food does taste as delicious as the pictures look. The girl at the register was great with the service. She was very friendly and welcoming. The reason it gets a 4 is because the place is really small , the parking sucks, and it closes at 5 which I'm usually not off work until after 5. We ordered the Enamorado, Tamarindo Jícama, and Hija de su Puta and taco de pulpo. The Enamorado was delicious and full of flavor and I would suggest getting the shrimp raw it had more flavor than the cooked. The Hija De Su had a very similar flavor but had I believe fish and pulpo but the sauce was very similar if not the same. The Enamorado might have seemed a lil more zesty but that might just be because of the added seafood in the other. However, both very delicious but I think I preferred the Enamorado. If you love Chamoy and Jicama you will love the other one. It has a little spicy kick but it's also very sweet so I don't recommend having one of those in the same sitting. The taco was very well seasoned and as you can see very loaded. The food might be a little pricey but seafood is expensive and the servings are very much worth it so I would say it's worth every dollar. If your looking to try a good ceviche place you can't go wrong here. I'll update with my birria pics and posts when I have a chance to go back and try that next.

I would give the soltera clamato five stars and the food 3 stars if they were separate categories. The portions on the tacos and the tostada were great but the birria could have been more saucey, for lack of a better word. I thought the octopus in the SD Taco had a "fishy" taste that was a little more pronounced than I'm used to. I like that they give you your own cilantro, chipotle and serrano sauces for the table. The chipotle was my fav but they were all really flavorful. Bonus points for the owner actually bringing out the food to us.

This place is yummy. The ceviche was so fresh. We were hesitant because we got it raw which we didn't think twice about since ceviche typically cooks from lime juice. Regardless it was so flavorful and refreshing. The tacos were not greasy at all which I appreciated. These two were more than enough to share.

This place has great presentation. But food is definitely not worth it. Especially for the price wise. Birria fries 2/5: Fries lacked flavor but great portion. Found a bone in the meat that got stuck behind my tooth. Hurt pretty bad. And the sauces were very bland. QuesaBirria 2/5: Meat was very thick and not chopped up well. More meat then cheese. El Verde Ceviche 0/5: I feel completely ripped off for paying for this. They put almost no shrimp and about a pound of cucumber. Everything about that plate was wrong. Super disappointed. Price 0/5: None of the prices are reasonable. Bottled water is $2.50. Their prices are high as it is and they have an additional sign that says "$1 increase on everything " Avoid this place.

There's never a bad meal here and the owner is genuinely grateful for our business. One of my favorite go to spots in San Diego. My top favorite dishes are:Shrimp cocktail: The right amount of shrimps and flavors. They make their cocktail sauce like no other. There's no need to add other condiments like ketchup or lime in it. It's just perfect the way it is. The cocktail is served with seasoned tostadas.Grilled Cheese Birria Sandwich: Soft, shredded birria meat and melted cheese packed in between two thick sliced bread. So delicious and mouth watering. A large amount of food. This is also served with a side of crispy French fries.Quesabirria tacos: The cheese is melted onto the taco shell and stuffed with soft, shredded birria meat that is marinated with a burst of flavors.
