Bright, airy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating! Nice trendy restaurant in La Mesa!We went for brunch with a nice menu selection of salads, pizzas and breakfast items! My sister in law had the Carnitas Benedict which looked delicious! Our nephew has the Blueberry Pancakes! 3 nice plate size fluffy pancakes covered with fresh blackberry sauce and a huge serving of whipped cream! My husband had the Breakfast Burger with 100% Angus beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, argues fried over easy egg on a brioche bun! I had chosen the Farmers Pizza. Their imported Stefano Ferrari oven creates Italian Pizza with a delicate thin crispy crust with wood fire edges which was very nice especially since I usually do not like the crust! The pizza had fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, ham, artichoke hearts with mushrooms and olives, very generous toppings to completely cover the pizza and every slice and bite!Would come back again when visiting San Diego!

We live very close by and keep trying this place (at least 4 times since it opened), thinking it will get better, and we keep getting disappointed in the food. The service is spotty, sometimes it's great, sometimes not. The prices are too high given the quality. We won't be going back. And we don't get why it's always so crowded (maybe we're picky, but we have plenty of neighbors who feel the same way about the place).AN OPEN MESSAGE TO THE OWNERSHIP GROUP: we (including all of our La Mesa friends) are looking forward to what you're going to do with the old "Por Favor" space downtown La Mesa. We challenge you to make the quality of the food and service MUCH BETTER there than Famer's Table. Please, don't mess it up.

Cal is a great server and made the experience much better than it would have been judging by the food alone. Cal was attentive, friendly, and well informed on the menu. I don't understand why the door was wide open on a balmy hot day but it was and the flies were insufferable. Cal of course didn't have any control over that but was super helpful in suggesting we cover the food with napkins to remedy the issue. The food is mid at best (Hershey's chocolate syrup, artificial tasting dreyers-like ice cream, undercooked pizza crust, way heavy handed with the anchovies in the caesar).

Ahhhh if I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The food is to die for! So fresh and always so delicious. The service is great and I think you'll be happy with whatever you order on the menu. Truly one of my favorite places to eat breakfast in San Diego. If you visit, I'd recommend sitting outside on their beautiful patio. This place is in the heart of downtown La Mesa and is truly a hidden gem!

We enjoyed this place a lot. While visiting San Diego, a friend and I ate a late lunch here. Because it was an odd time around 3:00 on a Monday, they said we could only get salads and pizzas which was fine with us. We ordered a guavarita drink, a green salad, a birria pizza, and a spinach ricotta pizza. All of the food was delicious! The pizza crust was amazing. I would definitely return here and try some of their other dishes.

I recently went to farmers table and we had a bit of a mixed experience. We tried the pizza, and it was just okay. Honestly, it had way too much meat, which kind of drowned out the other flavors. We also had the chicken salad and that was really good. On the bright side, the kids chicken and pancakes were a hit. They were cooked perfectly, and my cousins kids loved them. It's always a win when the kids are happy with their meal!The biggest downside was the seating. They put us in a corner, and it felt pretty lonely and isolated. It wasn't the most welcoming spot. Overall, the food had its good moments, but the ambiance could use some work to make it feel more inviting.
