Only some things are good here, the bean burrito and the green hot sauce. The California burrito is not bad just very tiny. It's very small for the price, it's pretty ridiculous how small it is for a $15 burrito, the rice tasted like perfume, the rolled tacos have ground beef in them like Taco Bell!!!! What the!!??? The 'guacamole' is that neon sour cream fake guac mixed stuff.Nothing authentic about this place, this is not good Mexican food, this is more like a bigger and more expensive Taco Bell.

This is my all time, for life, FAVORITE Mexican spot in ALL of San Diego. I have quite literally fallen in love with this place. All burritos are delicious. I also love the plates. They have a nice salsa bar available for free. I will say prices have gone up in the past year due to inflation but still worth every penny.

Very big disappointment. Ground beef meat in rolled tacos. Where's the shredded beef ? Watered down guacamole, added filler. Carne asada fries. Dry u chewable meat. Never again with this place !!!

Still the best flautas and beans ! Fast service. We drive from imperial beach to poway just to eat flautas. I always buy a jar of salsa too, super yummy and spicy

Updated review: still a solid 4 stars for everything else I love to eat here: rolled tacos, flautas, carne asada fries and their burgers, of all things, lol.But they started putting lettuce in their carne asada burrito! No bueno. I bit into my burrito and not sure if it's used as a filler but for the price you are paying for it, I'd prefer it be all meat. Just my preference.Love the salsa bar with many different options plus the free chips when you dine in. I'll continue to support their business but if you are not a fan of lettuce in your carne asada burrito, make sure you request it without.

Best Mexican food locally. Coming here for over 30 years the food quality has always been outstanding! Yep the prices are high but the food is quality !

El Ranchito in my opinion is unmatched, absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever had, the chicken flautas are unbelievable. This is a family run business and The Barajas Family are the best people I've ever known, I highly recommend El Ranchito and I think you'll agree the food is the best you've ever had.

The tacos here are so good! The women that work there are very nice! I ordered the rolled taco plate. It came with rice and beans. Best ever!

Very bad service, untrained staff, keep making same mistakes,the staff do not communicate the same waySad to see that in any establishment.Price is higher than most other food places, i am not going back ever.food half cold , rolled tacos over fried..I do not recommend to anyone..
