Great beer, affordable prices, fun vibe, and friendly beertender. Kinda hard to find, but great once you do. They have some board games, cards, and TVs. What more can you ask for?

Division 23, a chill spot in Miramar, is a delightful hole in the wall, akin to stumbling upon a geospot. Though initially hidden in the back, where the garage meets the corner, ample parking eases any confusion. The IPAs are a hit, offering a cool sip for beer lovers. Opting for a recommended mixed drink, blending syrups with their seltzer, adds a delightful twist to the experience. The friendly and prompt service from the server enhances the laid-back vibe. Engaging in games like shuffleboard, karaoke, and even a hydration station adds to the cool, relaxed atmosphere. Division 23 is undoubtedly a top pick for those seeking a chill brewery experience with great drinks and a side of fun.

Great beer although not a big selection. Nice small brewery and honestly it's not as difficult to find as others have claimed.

"Head Brewer" Eric actually 86'd me tonight for not talking to him.All evening I heard him talking and mentioning my name but I had nothing to say to him.Eventually he hears me laugh (at a meme on my phone) and aggressively states to me "FUCK YOU!".I move away and this further prompts him to announce to the room that he is flipping me off multiple times. This gets my full attention and when I ask why he did such blatant disrespect, he says "FUCK YOU!" again. When retaliating back with a "Well fuck you!", he announced loudly that I was 86'd.This is probably most attributed to that when this Eric is there, he is almost ALWAYS over the top drunk.Very juvenile and child-like.It's also known, even among regulars, that this brewer cannot make the same brew twice. They always taste different, even when he calls them the same "name".i.e. The "Supply Chain" is completely different every batch. This time it's a "Hazy"?The "Freight Damage" used to be popular but Eric has stated he simply forgot how to make it. D23 needs a real brewer, not this novice.Home brewers in 5 gal Home Depot buckets are more consistent than this guy Eric. What's worse is that their board is always limited and empty.Hell, they run out of IPAs constantly because the brewer cannot efficiently brew beer.

Great little brewery hidden in the middle of an industrial park. Just follow the signs and you won't get too lost on your way to this awesome find. Complete with shuffle board, ping pong and even free popcorn, the wall of TV's and the music in the background provide the perfect ambiance for a chill after-work drink, fun evening with friends or even a little business over brews. The selection of draft beers changes frequently enough to always keep your taste buds happy and your thirst satiated. From IPA's to coffee Stouts on nitro, ambers and lagers, this place has something for everyone.I've been here many times and will continue to return. They have a menu of local foods that can be delivered as there's no food served on site. But they are welcome to outside food too... just buy your drinks there.Always a good time. Always a good brew.

Cool space that's buried pretty deep in the industrial area in Miramar. Place comes with a ping pong table, shuffleboard table, 3 TVs, and a popcorn machine (which was unfortunately not working when we visited). Makes it a good space to hang out that was not too busyThe beer itself was decent but nothing too impressive. There aren't a lot of options on tap with classic options of IPA, blondes, stouts etc. but it is a smaller brewery so that is to be expected.

I got an invitation from Division 23 to come down for a visit. I had not been for a long while and I had enjoyed my first time there, so I was glad to drop in. (in the interests of full disclosure I should tell you that they paid for my flight this time, but that fact did not affect my judgement of the place.)The brewery and its tasting room are at the back of a commercial/light industrial park. You have to be patient and just keep going as you drive back there. Fortunately they have added more signs than I saw on my first visit, so it is a little easier to feel confident you are going the right way now. After that little adventure, you should be able to easily find parking. The entrance is unassuming. As soon as you walk in, however, you'll love the vibe. It feels like a basement rec room to me--fairly low ceilings, lots of dark woods, a small bar, a few side tables, some sofas and chairs, and a ping pong table. The nanobrewing system is off to the side as you enter. I had great service from the bartender, even though he was very busy with an office party that afternoon. A sense of pride about working there was evident when he talked with me, even though he had only been there a couple of months. The vibe in the place was lively and fun. I was pleased to see that even people who were unused to craft beer were given patient advice and guided to beers they all enjoyed.I really liked my flight. The beer has "leveled up" since I last visited Division 23 in 2017. The consistency and the quality of the beers at should satisfy any beer lover. The range of beers is not huge, but it is certainly big enough. This is a nice spot for an after work gathering or a special occasion. You can even reserve the back room for a private event, complete with several large TVs and a video game console. It would make an excellent place to watch a big game with a small group of friends.

It was a little difficult finding this brewery, seeing that you have to take about 5 turns to get in here when you get off the street. But, they try to ease the pain by having a bunch of signs to guide you. When you actually arrive to the brewery, it looks like it's in the back of a warehouse. Walking in, it's definitely a diamond in the rough. It's very lively inside with an inviting bar area. If that's not your scene, they have a huge lounge with comfortable sofas, 3 large TVs, shuffleboard, ping pong, and free water and popcorn. I tried the Eh, Blonde which was very tasty! It had a hint of blueberry it seemed and it made it extremely delicious. I also tried a rum barrel aged beer that kinda had a kick to it. It wasn't my favorite, but usually the rum barrel aged beers are hit or miss. But, I'm appreciative that they went for it. Overall, this brewery has some very inventive beers, the bartender was very nice and helpful, and I like the option of having the bar vibe or just chilling in the lounge area and playing some games. I'd probably be back for the Eh, Blonde beer. The shuffleboard is one of the longest I've seen and I love it! Great place for a happy hour or to find beers off the Sorrento Valley beer strip. 5 stars.
